Billy’s hospitality was really amazing! The view from the terrace and Mexican breakfast that his wife made were also brilliant. We would like to visit there again!

An excellent accommodation experience, as if being in a mechanical museum. Billy was very considerate, everything was well arranged, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was excellent, with cable cars and viewpoints just a short walk away.

The best B&B experience I’ve ever had! Billy was incredibly welcoming and helpful — from the detailed pre-arrival instructions to personally meeting me and helping with my luggage. The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the city. The decoration is done with great taste and heart, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere everywhere. I cherished every moment spent at the casa — from a refreshing early morning swim in the heated pool to a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast by Ari, who truly adds warmth and charm to the house. Every member of the team, including the housekeeper and gardener, was friendly and attentive. It felt like a dream come true — a stay I’ll never forget. Highly recommended!

What did I like ? Absolutely everything. The location was amazing. Wonderful views over the city. My room was splendid. Spacious, spotless and comfortable. The hosts? I only met Billy on introduction when he showed me around their Wonderful space. If you like art and quirky? You are going to love this. He couldn't do enough to make sure I was going to be comfortable. Ira , I met before breakfast. You can get fresh coffee as early as 7 am . It was like talking with a long time friend . I Absolutely adored her. A great sense of humour, very intelligent and nothing for breakfast was too much trouble. She makes the most amazing breakfast I must add. Her pancakes are to die for . She made plenty and my eyes wanted to eat more but my stomach is saying no, you eat too much lol. Her eggs are divine too! She certainly cooks with love . When I come back I plan on staying longer and will most definitely Absolutely stay here . Just a wonderful homely feel and I couldn't have asked for more. “One of the best places we have stayed”

The Casa Zuniga team were so warm and friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and had an amazing time. The room was so spacious with amazing views. The accommodation is rustic but super comfortable and we could not have asked for a more perfect start to our trip.

Such a quirky and unusual place. We loved the decor and the size and the vista above the town. Riding to and fro to the centre was a hoot. Any needs were met speedily and with good grace and both Ari and Billy are fun to engage with.

I absolutely loved the view from my balcony. The hosts were courteous and kind, Billy kindly offered to help with our laundry which was very kind of him. Gorgeous and sunny plant filled outside areas.

Beautiful views, very friendly host, who made us feel very welcome. It’s a clean, large accommodation. Delicious breakfast included. The house has multiple rooms spread across decorated in most creative way, it felt like a special experience. We joined a walking tour with our host as well and it was amazing way to learn about local history.

We have stayed at the Casa Zuniga a number of times over the years and it is very special place. The owners and staff are exceptional and go out of their way to make sure you have a great visit. The breakfasts are great as well. Casa Zuniga was built by the owners who live onsite and beautiful sculpture are around every corner. The view of Guanajuato from the many terraces is fantastic.

It’s a wonderful place to stay. It’s like a museum house and every furniture there is like a piece of art. The owner has very good taste. The instruction to get there is very clear and the location is wonderful. The breakfast is very good. Rick and his family are all very kind and thank you so much for all the attention and the convenience that Casa Zuniga offered for my stay. It was an unforgettable and unexpected experience both in Guanajuato and Casa Zuniga. Highly recommend and again thank you so much.

The hosts were wonderful and the breakfast was a feast. It's hard to capture this place in a few words. It's a destination unto itself, and the history lesson from Rick is worth the room rate.

Rick and his family give much more than a great stay. The local history of the area and of their self build, added to the art work on show make a stay here unique.

“Beautiful view and super interesting house and kind host”

The host is very kind and knows a lot of history. He allowed us to put our bags in his storage area. I think because we arrived early he said it threw him off, he didn't tell us about the casa. He gave us tickets for the funicular and shared important sites. We asked about breakfast and internet. You could get coffee at 8 am, and breakfast at 9 am. Breakfast was good. The funicular stops running at 9:45 pm, be aware so you aren't stuck walking up in the dark. Shower was hot, and the room was clean.

It was very nice to be able to relax it was nice and quiet
