Overview
Located in Gruissan, in the heart of the vineyard of the Massif de La Clape and 2 km from the sea and 14 km from Narbonne, this 18th-century château features an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Château Le Bouïs offers air-conditioned guest rooms and a cottage with a view over the park and the garden. Set on the first and second floors, each unique room has a refined décor with parquet or tile floors, period furnishings and an en suite bathroom with toiletries. In the morning, on the park's shaded terrace, guests can enjoy a continental breakfast including hot drinks, juices, fruits and pastries. Regional produce is served in the restaurant at Château Le Bouïs, which has a terrace offering sea views. Staying at Château le Bouïs was a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The welcome was warm and effortless, setting the tone immediately. The bedrooms are comfortable, well-kept, and impeccably clean, creating a relaxed and elegant atmosphere throughout the stay. One of the highlights is undoubtedly breakfast — the views are simply stunning, overlooking the surrounding landscape and stretching out toward the sea. The property’s own winery adds a special touch, with daily tastings that make the experience feel unique and rooted in its surroundings. The setting itself is beautiful, peaceful, and full of character. With sea views from the hotel and easy access to nearby hiking routes, it’s an ideal place to disconnect, explore, and enjoy the natural beauty of the region. A place with great charm and potential — already very good, and with just a few small touches, it could be outstanding.

“Sea views over the vineyards, great food and dog friendly, not dog tolerated”
The room was spacious and I appreciated the dog bed and bowls for my Labrador. The views are stunning, and the staff is lovely. Breakfast was very good, as was the dinner. The wine tasting offered was a lovely add-on. It is close to Gruissan, but it feels isolated in the best way. The stars at night were wonderful to behold as well.

A wonderful location, comfortable room, welcoming staff and excellent breakfast. We ate in the restaurant both nights. The food was delicious, as was the wine. We really enjoyed the wine tasting, which was offered as part of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble!

“Winery with rooms and a view”
Lovely working winery situated in a beautiful location surrounded by vineyards. Elegant comfortable room on the ground floor which we had requested as we were travelling with our pet Labrador. Very dog friendly allowed in the restaurant and he even joined us for wine tasting. Excellent evening meal would recommend .
