Overview
Country House Marića Gaj is a family-run agrotourism set in a traditional house in Ružići, 30 km from Međugorje. Featuring free Wi-Fi and free parking, it offers a restaurant, an outdoor pool, sauna and a volleyball court. All rooms and apartments are air-conditioned and comprise an LCD TV and a patio or a balcony with garden view. Each accommodation unit provides a kitchenette and a private bathroom. The award-winning on-site restaurant serves local and international dishes made from fresh food grown on the property. There is also a wine cellar and an olive grove. Horseback riding can also be organised, as well as paintball matches. Various excursions are organised by the property. The town centre of Grude is 4 km away. Mostar, with its UNESCO-listed Old Bridge is 44 km away. The popular Makarska Riviera is 60 km from the Marića Gaj Country House.

“Cute concept, needs improvement.”
The whole concept is really cute, but improvements are needed, infrastructure wise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay.

“All in all, the best place we stayed on our trip through The Balkans.”
Fabulous accomodation, the receptionist/barmaid even upgraded us to the hotel/motel, and gave us two rooms instead of one for no extra cost. What a lovely lady, she was so friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Arrived late for food, kitchen had closed, but she persuaded the chef to cook for us, great super. Instead of leaving early the next day, we decided to stay for the day, and had an amazing mixed grill for lunch. Great swimmimg pool. And everything was so reasonably priced. Can't recommend this place enough.

“Buyer beware...false advertising”
Staff in the associated Hotel Restaurant Kiwi pleasant and helpful when we could not find any staff from the agroturizam to help us. Sympathetically converted farm buildings, some period furnishings and decor, nice outdoor pool and terrace areas, well kept gardens. Free onsite parking and good wifi, room was air conditioned. Inexpensive lodging. I'm really struggling to find positives!

“Terrible.”
The water in the bathroom didn’t work at all. We had to brush our teeth with the shower hose. There was a wedding on right underneath our bedroom window, the noise was extreme, the host did not move us as he said there was no other rooms available. we did not sleep until 4.30am and had to be up at 7 the next morning. The wedding party even let off fireworks right under our window at 1.30am! The room also had exposed electrical wiring coming out of two walls. The included breakfast was a joke and barely edible, We paid for our own breakfast elsewhere the following morning. To top it all off the bathroom door didn’t even close all the way and we all saw each other on the toilet when walking past.

Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Beautiful surrunding, plus swiming pool. Rooms were very pretty. We would definitely come back.
