The house was very cosy, beds and pillows so comfy. Kitchen had everything you needed.

The location was quiet and close enough to the town center, so getting groceries or going out for ice cream was a quick drive. Inside the house, there are toys and other things to entertain kids.

A wonderful house within an easy 40 minute drive to Yosemite's Big Oak Flat entrance (the closest to San Francisco). The house was spacious, tastefully furnished and supremely comfortable. It was superbly equipped, including with games, books and even a record player which was a huge novelty to my 15 year old son. The first morning there was a huge deer lying just metres from our window. Groveland is a charming small Gold Rush town, and there's a good and well-equipped supermarket at the end of the road the house sits on. Don't miss a trip to the oldest pub in California. Myself and my three sons had an amazing time. Wholeheartedly recommended.

“A perfect and comfortable base for a visit to the region”

Very comfortable and homely. Super comfortable beds, bathrooms spacious . Kitchen and lounge area lovely to use and reside in. Aircon system is modern and works very well. Really pleased with the property. Also, deer and squirrels spotted from the property on most days. Around and about, the location is perfect for reaching Yosemite National Park, and the Yosemite Valley. For a small fee (initially arranged via the property owner), we could access the Pine Mountain Lake private amenities too for up to 7 days (such as the free lake taxi/ferry - Captain Gary was great company for our 1 hour "cruise" ). Public amenities - Golf and the Equestrian centre - are so close. The golf was tough although playing in 103F heat was a factor there. The trail ride organised with the equestrian centre was appreciated as well.

Very good furnishing. Especially the record player with a nice selection. Groveland is a small little town with a lot of charm.

“This was a home that felt like our own, and the kids (10, 5 &1) all did very well here and loved it.”

There were kid friendly plates and utensils. We had 3 young ones. There were 2 highchairs and pack and plays. Lots of pots and pans, spices, large fridge. Many dining seats. Comfy furniture and rooms. Large rooms and bathrooms. Many games, books, magazines. We brought our own games, but they had great ones for the whole family. There was a wood stove with wood and fire starters. We didn't use it this time, because the weather was warm, but great that it's available. There's central heat/air. I think they really thought of everything. The grocery is only a couple of minutes away. The decor is cute, but not kitschy. It feels very welcoming.

The owners had high had high quality equipment throughout the house. Also everything had been thought about.
