Overview
In the heart of the Ardèche tourist region, the Château de la Selve gîtes, a beautiful 13th-century residence, offer top-quality facilities in an exceptional setting. The 3-hectare landscaped park, with large relaxation areas, a swimming pool and a boules pitch, adjoins the vines of the organic winegrowing estate - a dynamic haven of peace. Each gîte has a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto a living room with flat-screen TV, a bathroom with walk-in shower and hairdryer, and a bedroom. The bedrooms of the 2-person gîtes are equipped with a silent ceiling fan. When you arrive, your room and bathroom are prepared with quality linen, and we take particular care to ensure the quality of the bedding and the cleanliness of your gîte. Free wifi, parking and bicycle garage. Each 2-person gîte has its own garden furniture set in the grounds. The 4-person gîte is on the ground floor, with garden furniture in its own private area overlooking the park. During your stay, you can take a tour of our winery, with free wine tasting. Within a 20 km radius, you can visit a number of beautiful and very typical villages, the Chauvet cave, the Ardèche gorges, the Bois de Païolive and its dolmens, and take the green route on foot or by bike, which starts near the château.

My wife and I spent 9 nights, holidaying at the stunningly beautiful Chateau de la Selve. Our gite was extremely comfortable, tastefully presented, very well equipped and scrupulously clean. The expansive park-like grounds were delightful. A very tranquil and relaxing, well managed venue in which to unwind in comfortable accomodation, surrounded with unspoilt panoramic views. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff, who were extremely welcoming and helpful. A wonderful holiday at Chateau de ka Selve. We would most certainly revisit a d highly recommend.
