The historic Ghaub Nature Reserve & Farm - ONE Namibia is situated on a nature reserve in the Otavi Mountains. The lodge features a large outdoor pool and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The rooms at this former mission station feature a seating area and a patio. Each room is equipped with a fan and an electric kettle. The beds are draped with a mosquito net. The restaurant and reception offer free WLAN and guests can enjoy drinks at the bar. Activities at Ghaub Nature Reserve & Farm - ONE Namibia include game drives where guests visit rock art, rhino tracking and excursions to the Ghaub cave. Guests can also relax at the pool and watch game from the hide at the waterhole. Grootfontein and Tsumeb are both about 50 km away from Ghaub Nature Reserve & Farm - ONE Namibia and the famous Etosha National Park can be reached within 1.5 hours by car.

“Fantastic property which could be improved with a little effort”
Ghaub is an exceptional property, situated in its own nature conservatory and on the site of an old mission. There is a lot of history in the property, accompanied by an old graveyard and rock etchings dating back to some of the earlier San inhabitants. Take the opportunity and go for long, relatively easy walks and you will be rewarded with a multitude of wildlife sightings of virtually every kind. Accommodation is in three blocks of farmhouse-style rooms, surrounded by large airy verandas, lovely to enjoy with a long, cold drink. There are also three seemingly well appointed campsites for those wanting to brave a slightly wilder accommodation option. Certainly a property we will return to time and time again.

“Close to nature in a stunning setting. Excellent stargazing opportunity on site”
Colonial style setting. Privacy and space. Great tour to see the rhinos where you can really come up close. The hogs were everywhere and baboons did their thing, not necessarily minding your presence. a great opportunity to walk in nature with the opportunity to come close to the rhinos
