Overview
Situated directly at the beach in the heart of Grömitz, this hotel offers a whole holiday experience. A rooftop restaurant, a leisure programme and access to spa facilities are featured at aja Grömitz Guests at the resort enjoy direct bathrobe access to the extensive Grömitzer Welle sea water spa centre with its views of the Baltic Sea, spacious indoor pool, hot tubs and family bathing area. The sauna area includes a Finnish sauna with Baltic Sea view, a steam room and a heated outdoor pool situated high above the beach promenade. The cardio and exercise room can be used free of charge. Massages and other spa treatments are available for an additional charge. The spacious rooms at aja Grömitz feature modern décor and a king-size bed. Each room also includes a seating area, 48-inch TV and a private bathroom with spacious shower. Wheelchair accessible rooms are available on request. The market buffet with live cooking station offers varied dishes, including a rich breakfast buffet and freshly prepared egg dishes. Guests are welcome to relax with long drinks, fine wines and draught beers in the bar, which also offers classic bar snacks such as curry sausage, fish & chips, pulled beef burger and beef tatar at lunch-time. There is also a 24-hour mini-market and a cosmetics flagship store in the hotel lobby. Staff is happy to give suggestions to help you explore the area.

Food was excellent. Great value for money since you get breakfast, dinner and entrance to the Welle Grömitz. This was a big treat. We were right by the beach.

“great hotel and location”
Excellent hotel. rooms good sized. clean & bright. We had dinner and breakfast in a package and it was all great. Also included access to the swimming pool which again was excellent. staff friendly and helpful. location amazing near a great sandy beach with good local bars and restaurants. we will try to come back.

Quite nice breakfast with a splendid view on the sea ; nice rooms with an original structure ; the Wellness immediately adjacent to the hotel resort is absolutely wonderful. Nice touch: free coffee and cake around 4pm.

“Very good location, but very small rooms”
The hotel is very quiet, and beds are very good. Breakfast and dinner served in hotel´s restaurant were very good, and had something for little child too. Located near the beach and bars/cafes

“Great place next to the beach”
Grömitz was a great location and the hotel was right next to the beach. Dog friendly hotel, clean and quite big rooms for families. Waterworld access was very much appreciated. Breakfast was good.

SPA was good, but you NEED to be naked. i was kicked out for not wanting to be naked with man and women in the same sauna.

“A fantastic hotel right next to the beach!”
We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. All the staff, both at reception and in the restaurant, were extremely attentive, helpful and polite. The room was a decent size and decorated in highly original, tasteful colours , and we loved the "transparent" bathroom and the possibility to curtain off the sleeping quarters. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, containing a wide choice of dishes to suit everybody's taste. The sea view from the restaurant on the top floor was amazing. We also loved the possibility to visit the sea water wave pool, just two minutes from our room.

“The hotel should be better equipped but the location is awesome.”
Breakfast was good, the evening buffet was ok. The location is great. The rooms are functional and a decent size.

“Perfect place to unwind”
Very friendly staff, always courteous and patient in explaining all the pandemic rules. Lovely clean room, the design features made it feel fun and welcoming, luxuriously comfortable bed. Great breakfast buffet, they save on herbs and spices with the omelette but other than that excellent and tasty selection. Perfect location to do everything on foot from.
