Contacting with host before arriving: quick, precise answers. Appreciated. In apartment there was basically everything we needed. I want to separately mention, that apartment was very clean, I could say spotless. Absolutely first class cleanliness. Towels and bed sheets clean and comfortable. Also hosts were really friendly and nice. There was reasonable selection of kitchen utensils for cooking. Big fridge and also freezer in utility room. Washing machine available too. Absolutely charming atmosphere. Top recommendation. We enjoyed.

“Wonderful place on the countryside just 20min drive from Legoland and central Billund”

Wonderful place on the countryside. It is a repurposed stable I belive and you got the whole building for yourself. A massive yard and just 20min drive to central Billund (Legoland which was our main reason for going here) or 10min for the closest village. The house had 3 rooms with a extra foldable bed and a bigger couch. A tv with most channels and cozy location made for the perfect stay for us 4 and most defenetly better than any hotel. You need a car to come here since it is afterall in farmlands and busses are not frequent. So if you are tired of hotels and want a more rural but still modern living I defenetly recommend this place.

It's a nice place to stay. Very clean and warm inside. A lot of outdoor space for kids to play. Just 18min drive to Legoland. Super cute and friendly dogs.

The apartment is in very qalm place, next to the forest. Outside there is playground for children, barbeque and fireplace. It was warm and cosy inside. You can find all needed things there. It was very clean.

“WONDERFUL HOUSE IN THE WOODS.”

This little house was a true delight at the edge of a woodland. The views from the windows were gorgeous. We were all enthralled with our stay and would not hesitate to return one day. We found the house, perfectly situated for a trip to Legoland and the surrounding areas. A good Satnav is necessary for the winding country roads, we did get lost a few times, but managed some lovely day trips to Ribe, Esbjerg and Hvide Sande. Ribe was particularly worth seeing and we all enjoyed our day at Legoland. The bedrooms were comfy, and the whole apartment was well equipped. We only made breakfasts and light suppers, as we ate out during the day. Well equipped for small children, with swings and trampoline. Great for a family holiday. The owners live across the way and they were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

“Beautiful; well-equipped; ideal for Legoland but stay longer and enjoy it!”

We booked this as it was close to Legoland, but actually we would love to have stayed longer. It is beautifully set up with lovely indoor and outdoor space, and everything you could possibly need (washing machine, outdoor furniture, trampoline, barbecue, fire pit, WiFi, deep freeze etc etc). You need to be coming by car as it is out of town in the woods, but the town of Grindsted and supermarket are only 5 minutes drive, and Legoland and Billund airport are 20 minutes or less. The key had been left for us to go in, and our host came and said hello when he got home, then left us to enjoy the space. It would suit a young family with its great garden (with swings, goal, trampoline, sand pit). It didn’t bother us, but the stairs are quite steep and narrow, so I wouldn’t have wanted to be carrying a baby up them, or letting a toddler use them, but the main double bedroom is downstairs anyway, and our children were fine with the stairs. We loved this place and would highly recommend it.

I liked the location of this apartment, to be in nature was a very good experience.
