Simple Perfect Clean

Beautiful location I'm the heart of Grindelwald. Easy connections for skiing. It's a family run hostel. Swiss style mutual respect between hosts and guests. They even made breakfast ready early for me one day because I needed to leave early.

The place is clean and our hosts are very hospitable, they made us feel at home (Thanks Fränzi and Marco). Our room faces the majestic snow capped Alpine mountains. We enjoyed watching cable cars going up and down the mountains, and skiers going down the slopes. And you can see typical alpine villages down the valley. The hostel is located centrally, just about 50 meters away from the main road of Grindelwald where all the shops and restaurants are to be found.

Amazing location , stunning views, really lovely breakfast with so much choice. Hosts were great, very helpful, friendly and even got gluten free bread for my husband. Nice convenient kitchen area to use in the evening.

Always clean. Great value for money. Also received 20% off ski hire at Buri Sports due to staying here. View from the front of accommodation is great too

“Cozy Comfortable room with a reasonable price”

Room was cozy and comfortable. I took a small single room with shared bathroom just across which I did not need to share as there was no one in the room next door. Breakfast was a great spread consisting of freshly baked bread, jam butter Cheese, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, juice, pastries etc. Location is great - just 8-10 mins from Grindelwald station just off the main road close to restaurants and supermarket. The supermarkets have a great selection of salads and sandwiches. You save quite a bit of money staying here, which can be used to eat out. It was very well priced and a good value for money. Of course there are rules, but I had no problem with them as it meant peaceful stay for everyone. The next time i would probably book a double or twin room

Very helpful hosts

Wonderful stay. Located in the center of the village. They provided me with a parking space at the property free of charge. I had a shared bathroom, a spacious and pleasant room with no noise. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Very close to all amenities, including the cable cars and restaurants. Everything was very clean, the accommodations were beautiful, rustic, and the decor was minimalist. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I was able to enjoy three wonderful nights in Grindelwald. I felt right at home!
