Overview
Situated in the centre of Grindelwald, a 5-minute walk from Grindelwald Train Station, the sports centre, and the First Cable Car, Hotel Hirschen offers free WiFi and a restaurant serving cheese fondue, raclette and tarte flambée. It also features a new spa area. Elegantly decorated with oak wood furniture, the rooms at Hotel Hirschen - Grindelwald feature a HD satellite TV, a USB plug, a safe, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Some have a balcony overlooking the mountains. Spa facilities on site include a Finnish sauna, a herbal sauna, an infrared cabin, and 2 foot massage basins. “Extraordinary stay”
Very nice room with good views from the balcony. What surprised me is that even single bed rooms had huge balconies. They have a hot & cold water station at the entrance & also provide access to microwave till 10pm. The staffs are so helpful, polite, warm & very professional. Would definitely go back. Hotel is 3 minutes walk from the Grindelwald station & also has luggage storage options. The area is very safe & the rooms are soundproof. I didn't face any disturbances whatsoever.

“Welcoming & comfortable stay”
Very helpful reception and availability for leaving bags prior to check-in, although there is also lockers at the train station nearby.

Very friendly and helpful staff, and great location. We had an amazing view from our room (Room 441) which was also very spacious with balcony. Loved everything about it. Enjoyed the sauna too! Breakfast spread was decent - loved the juicer for our early morning vitamin dosage! No complaints; highly recommended.

“Wonderful”
The spatial interior with very Swiss style room design plus the mountain view is definitely a hit if you still want to see mountains after heading back to your room while enjoying a night at some place that feels like home

The location is excellent, staff is so kind, friendly, helpful. Samira welcomed us during check-in and she was so kind to give us all tips and information needed. Breakfast was perfect, as well as the staff who was working there. Honestly, highly recommend.

“Overall value for money rather poor, not recommended if you are traveling with a dog”
