We loved our stay at the chalet! We spent 1 week, and we immediately felt like home! You are right in the mountains, with a magnificent view to the mountains The chalet has plenty of space, super clean, the beds are heaven, and ideally located 5mn by car to the city center. When you register, you receive the Guest card from the Grindewald city,that gives you free access to the bus. There is a bus stop almost right in front of the chalet, that will take you up to Gross Scheidegg, or down to the city center of Grindelwald. And last: our host Marianne: what to say except she is the sweetest woman I've ever met! She helps you out to whatever you need, gives you great tips of the Jungfrau area, and she truly is a wonderful person! I strongly recommend this place, trust me, you will love it!'

Our host was lovely. We loved our stay in Grindelwald. The chalet is spacious and about a 10 min bus ride from town. It’s a beautiful walk however it takes about 30-40 mins.

Great location, very walkable from town or else there is a free bus that runs regularly. The apartment was well appointed and had everything that we needed, including a great kitchen and a place to sit outside with a wine to enjoy the beautiful view. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

Perfect place when you want to visit Grindelwald, you can take the bus, from bus stop nearby the apartment, or you can just walk around 20/30 minutes, with amazing views. The room was very big, we had our own kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, so you can also prepare your meals here, and you don't have so you don't have to buy all in restaurants 😉 and sometimes prices are pretty high. There is place, where you can sit outside and just listen the nature. Private parking is big enough. Perfect place! And very nice people!

“Incredible place with epic views of Eiger”

I was on a 12 day trip across Switzerland, Austria and Italy and stayed at 6 different locations including 5-star hotels such as Hyatt and Marriott. However, this incredible Chalet was easily the best accommodation in the entire trip. It is located in a quiet corner of Grindelwald but super easily accessible via the local bus, which runs every 30 minutes. The house is located in such a scenic location, right next to the Eiger and other incredible mountains, with green rolling fields. The host is the most amazing, friendly and warm person you'll ever meet. The location is great as it's a little further away from the main Grindelwald center. But this is perfect as. you enjoy the absolutely spectacular views from here and the bus takes you straight to Grindelwald and Grindelwald Terminal (for the Eiger Express) and other locations, so it's super convenient to get anywhere. There is a restaurant 5 minutes away (though I wouldn't recommend it), but if you walk a little bit more (around 15 mins), there are other options. I would recommend getting some food from the grocery store as the kitchen is perfect! I am so glad that I ended up selecting this incredible charming place since it was absolutely perfect!

Great location, 5 minutes by car from centre of GW (public transport available). Peaceful picturesque location, not swarming with tourists like GW.

“Cozy, spacious home with a picturesque mountain view”

Amazing mountain view at any time, cozy and spacious home, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. It is further away from town (Grindelwald Bahnhof), but if you plan your time wisely (catch the local bus’ timings), it is very accessible!

“Superb Chalet and great host..”

This is an amazing property nestled in beautifully village with Mountain View. The host Marianne really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The accommodation is clean and got all the amenities for comfortable stay. It’s I think over a 1 km from center but got good bus Connectivity to all attractions and ski centres. I would definitely stay here on my next visit.

We loved our stay here! Marianne was very warm, welcoming and friendly. She advised us on some local walks we could do as that's what we enjoyed doing. The property was clean and had all the ammenities we needed as we cooked our own dinners in the chalet. The beds were comfortable and the room very dark in the evening to aid with sleeping. No noises at all. This place is located very near to a bus stop that takes you all the way into Grindelwald.

Marianne is so through.The chalet is close to the bus station .You can go to the main road easily.It's a nice place to stay.

“Enchanting views!”

The view was amazing, and the covered patio is a great way to enjoy the mountain view.The hosts were very helpful, assisting us with a complimentary local travel pass for our stay and printing train tickets for us.. The kitchen was very functional, with tea, coffee, spices, and oils included. The local bus drops off/picks up very close to the property, runs twice per hour, and the ride is only about 10 minutes. The unit is modern, clean, and very inviting.

The owners are very kind and friendly, the apartment itself is simply amazing
