Overview
This accommodation has a peaceful location on the island of Grinda in the Stockholm archipelago, only 30 minutes by ferry from Waxholm. Grinda Stugby & Sea Lodge consists of a cabin village and Sea Lodge is a boarding house with board and lodging. There are three restaurants on the island, and you can also rent kayaks, stand up paddleboards and mountain bikes on site. Grinda Stugby & Sea Lodge offers cottage accommodation and guest rooms, less than 5 minutes' walk from the beach. The cottages have kitchenettes and patios, and the simple rooms overlook the garden. All accommodation units have shared shower rooms. On Grinda Stugby's grounds you can play boules and volleyball free of charge, and there is a sauna that you can use for a fee. Breakfast is served every morning in Sea Lodge's main building. Stockholm is 1.5 hours away by regular ferry.

“Lovely island, simple accommodation, would come again!”
Nice and simple cabin that even had a kitchen, which we did not realize beforehand. The cabins are in a lovely blueberry forest.

This cabine is in nature with indeed no water or toilets but it does the whole experience ! It is like camping but with all équipement you need and a good night sleep

“Beautiful little island and slightly primitive but cute and comfortable stugas”
Surrounded by trees and close to the shore. We were there before the high season started so had the place pretty much to ourselves. The showers were good.

“A pleasant accomodation to visit Grinda and the archipelago”
The cottages allow to visit Grinda and neighbouring islands. I guess they are equivalent to any other cottage on other islands of the archipelago from what we could see ! Which means that there is no water inside the cottage, and one has to cope with the smelly dry toilets !

In the middle of nowhere. Nice place for nature lovers. Chilly. Sauna ( fee) . Staff os very gentle and helpful. Calm place l good to relax.

“Another perfect weekend trip”
We love Grinda! We are coming back 1-2 times per year. Cottages are lovely, quite clean and you have everything you need for cooking. No running water and you need to take your own sleeping bags/bedsheets but hey, that's what it is about :) Nice walks in the forest/seaside, calm and beautiful views.

The island itself is beautiful but I'd suggest a day trip and bring your own food instead of staying overnight.
