Hôtel Cristal - Swiss Riders Lodge Grimentz is situated at 1,572 metres above sea level in peaceful surroundings, a 5-minute walk from the centre of Grimentz and the cable car station. The spacious rooms offer free Wi-Fi and the restaurant serves modern and traditional cuisine. There is a large terrace and a sauna for unwinding after a day in the mountains. A gym is at your disposal as well. Every afternoon, guests can enjoy free tea. Free private parking is available on site. Guests enjoy a 10% discount on ski and ski equipment rental. Transfers from the Geneva and Sion airports and from the train stations of Sierre and Visp to the Cristal Hotel are available on request.

Amazing hosts, lovely hotel and very cozy in a gorgeous area. Perfect for hiking. The food in their restaurant is phenomenal. One of the best welcomes I've ever had in a hotel.

The dinners we had were great here, we were staying here anyway but ate both nights because they had great veggie options of great quality. The staff were friendly and we had great views from the balcony, the area was spacious around the hotel and the village was gorgeous

“Great value for money and very welcoming staff”
Probably the most welcoming hotel in Switzerland we’ve been to - the staff seems to genuinely care about their guests. The breakfast was lovely (goat cheese delicious!), the dinner was also surprisingly good, rooms clean - we couldn’t wish for more.

“Good value for money”
It was well value the money compared to general Swiss hotels. Grimentz was a surprisingly authentique old swiss village. We happened to arrive at a day when there was a local market.

“Warm staff & beautiful place to stay in for my ski vacay.”
Conveniently located near the bus stop, 300m walk. For a winter vacay stay, the heater and insulation in the rooms & the property are important. It’s so nice & warm in my room even tho it was snowing heavily outside. Water heater was great & the heater in the toilet was excellent. Love this place to bits.

Staff were very welcoming and especially helpful with our next evening's reservation at point de Zinal, as we had made a mistake with our dates. Breakfast was delicious, the fresh bread was awesome! Muesli was great, oatmilk on offer too. There were boiled eggs on offer we hadn't seen eggs for breakfast on much of our trip at all. Great stay, great location, great bathroom, bath and shower.
