The property As soon as I walked in, my son and I were welcomed by the authentic, crisp, warm decor and structure. Large authentic wooden beams from the original structure of this awesome listed building left an aesthetically pleasing result. The kitchen area was extremely well designed and decorated. It honestly felt like we were in our own little coffee shop! Each appliance was of the highest quality and a stunning fit to the kitchen area. The fridge was stocked up with fresh fruit juices, champagne and Belgium beers. There were nourishing pots of breakfast yoghurts, oat, other milks and basic breakfast ingredients such as eggs etc. We also had a communal Nespresso machine with unlimited pods that made the best coffee! To accompany this there was a vast range of authentic Belgium biscuits, Nutella and Biscoff pots! On Sunday morning our wonderful host Bianca delivered fresh Belgium pastries to the kitchen which welcomed us as we entered the kitchen! CONSIDERING THIS WAS SELF CATERING AND FOOD WAS NOT INCLUDED, THIS KIND, EXTRA EFFORT PUSHED OUR STAY FROM 10 OUT OF 10 TO 20 OUT OF 10! Our room was perfect. The WIFI was super fast. Not one issue throughout our stay! A very comfortable double bed with lots of pillows, warm lighting with x 2 options of bright or low lighting, plenty of plug sockets with one featuring a USB C charging point. The blinds gave the effect of blackout when fully extended and the curtain provided excellent privacy yet still allowed the natural light in! There was plenty of room for storage for two people with excellent hanging space and lots of wooden hangers to organise our clothing! The shower was my favourite. I mean you have to experience it to understand. It had two different types of shower in its own shower room! The toilet and washing facilities were superb. Health and safety has been clearly thought out and the owners have not skimmed over anything. There is also a lift that takes you to each floor.

Newly renovated to an extremely high standard. Great comms with WhatsApp messages several days before suggesting where to park, what to do and where to eat x great idea, really appreciated Cant recommend highly enough and will definitely use again

Very modern, almost clinical, interior inside an old historic building. Automatic lighting along the corridors. Amazing large kitchen and food area. Good coffee and biscuits/chocolates. Nice fridge with food provided making a great breakfast. Convenient glass lift. Large comfortable bed. Good Wifi. Large walk in shower. EV chargers within walking distance. Keyless entry to the building was great and meant more pocket space. Supermarket within walking distance. Restaurants in the vicinity. Could park outside on the street.

Bianca is a super nice host. She helped us out for another colleague as well. The house itself is perfectly located for the Brussels Expo - 8 minutes drive. Modern rooms, newly renovated, well lit and loaded with amenities. There's a common kitchen with all equipment and breakfast Ample free parking spaces around. We have already reserved it for our next stay.

Everything is new, super neat, clean, and with a great design. They have a kitchen if you want to make dinner or lunch. The breakfast that is included, you have to make it yourself (for me, it's a good thing, but for someone else, it might be a bad thing). They have a little bit of everything, and free, obviously. Another great thing is that the views are splendid!!!

“A perfect place in a historical town”

We looked for a central place in Belgium to visit Mechelen, Brussels and Leuven. We think we found the best place for that at this location. We had the loft appartement, very clean and well equipped. A spacious kitchen was at our disposal. Bianca, who runs the place, was easy to contact and very pleasant in the communication. We can highly recommend a stay.

ALL - the artistic atmosphere of the new loft, the wonderful terrace! The extremely responsive hostess! Very pleasant surprise is all the food provided by the owners, including a bottle of local beer - Grimbergen 1128, wine, milk, cheese, eggs, biscuits, croissants, etc. Just to mention, we didn't have breakfast. All this is provided by the owner for your use as an extra bonus.

We loved everything about this stay. Beautiful house, great location, comfortable beds, bathroom was big and shower great. Breakfast area had a lot more than we had expected. And parking was very easy. We will be back.

Breathtakingly beautiful stay, both in terms of location, and for how high the quality of the place is.

I stopped here for a night on a work trip, I was looking for somewhere quiet and a meal close by. I was not expecting near perfection, but that’s what I got! Normally I don’t write reviews as most hotels are similar, most are ok, some are not ok, but this was absolutely amazing. Beautifully renovated historic building in the centre next to the church, a great Italian restaurant around the corner and a supermarket just a hundred meters up the street. Thank you Bianca!

I haven’t been this positively surprised by a place in a long time. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, spotlessly clean, and very welcoming. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with everything you might need. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. I will definitely come back!

Wonderfull place… the person who decorated the duplex may contact me to decorate my house as well 😜 . Fantastic bed, coffee corner, and good shower and towels! Laid back atmosphere in the kitchen, possibility to chat with the other guests… We will return!
