“Classic Chianti”

We absolutely loved the location and the property itself. Having the pool was a beautiful inclusion and a lovely way to spend the late afternoon after a day of exploring. Sundowners by the pool, overlooking the vines was something I'll never forget.

“A beautiful and peaceful setting within an operational vineyard.”

The setting is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by rolling vineyards and greenery. The accommodation is a 25-30 minute walk to the town centre, which includes some hills. We also had a car, which was useful for driving into the town or further afield, as I don't think there is any particularly good public transport. The owners and the staff were so welcoming and very accommodating. We had a minor issue with our car getting down the farm track to the accommodation (our car was very low to the ground and was therefore getting scraped on the farm track, so this was our issue, rather than their issue), but everyone was beyond helpful in allowing us to park elsewhere, in a location where the car could easily get in and out onto the main road. We were very grateful for this! Thank you to Elena, who was particularly accommodating and always at the end of the phone or WhatsApp. We had a truly wonderful stay and even purchased two cases of wine because they were so delicious! Highly recommend the accommodation and the wine!

The location was fantastic, the wine tasting was fantastic and we had more than expected with extra information when we asked questions. Nothing was too much trouble. The view is incredible. We suggest a car and roads are quiet. It’s traditional Italian decor which made it so much more authentic, adding to the experience.

Location was lovely, fantastic pool, everything was really well cared for. Wine tasting was great and lunch in montefioralle was lovely. Greve is lovely and really close. Very chilled out.

“Perfect stay and we would return”

This accommodation is great. The actual property is authentic Tuscan style, it’s clean, with enough kitchen utensils to be self sufficient. We enjoyed our private dining table outside our villa, with enough privacy from the other villa’s and the views are remarkable. Whilst there is no air conditioning, there were fans which did the job. The old stone house stayed relatively cool with shutters to keep the sun out during the day and all the windows have fly wire to enjoy the breeze at night and morning without mosquitoes. The pool is great, with the incredible views. Because it’s up on the hill you do need to drive into town, but it’s a very short drive with plenty of parking in the wonderful old town of Greve. Roberta managed our stay and she was fabulous.

The amazing view from the swimming pool area, it was spectacular and very tranquil. Roberta was very a tentative to our needs and has good advice for the local area. Brilliant location to visit Greve for the wine festival. We would return another time.

Very cute, Italian country vibe. Just note that You cannot reach the property or travel around the area without a car. Lovely to have a pool.

Roberta is an awsome host. Very friendly and humorious. Sie makes you feel welcome from the first moment on. The place has a beautiful view and is very quiet.
