“Relaxing and romantic getaway at Lake Carling Hotel.”
We liked the grandeur of the edifice, the beautiful grounds, the comfortable room, the dining experience and the welcoming staff. We also had wonderful massages.

“Expensive and non disclosed resort fee.”
We were charged a “resort fee” of 85.00 that had never been mentioned. We did not use any of the amenities as our tight schedule did not allow the time. We would not have chosen this hotel if we had known about the additional fee.

“Excellent hotel with the added bonus of a room upgrade very nice”
Very good breakfast with excellent service from Debbie. Location is very quiet which was not a problem for us as we were there for a nearby wedding. Dinner was excellent with great service from Gils best waiter we have had all holiday.

“Extremely bad experience.”
Nothing.We were overcharged for activities we could not do as facilities was dirty and not attended by staff.Bar not attended.When asked for assistance,were answered rudly. Bad smell in room and hallway.Asked for depisit of $200 in case we damadged facilities. When checking out couldn't be refunded on our card before hours. Next day, still no refund.bathtub was clogged. In all, terrible experience and will not return nor recommend.

The property is located in the country side and has a great location. Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable and clean. We were only there for the night and did not take advantage of the amenities but have heard the Spa is pretty good.

“Good place for some peace and quiet away from the hustle of the city but not worth the amount spent”
There was a large beautiful lake on site. I liked the seclusion and serenity of the area and also liked the fact that they had a spa and massage therapists on site. We had the massage therapy and was very good. Denise, one of the massage therapists was excellent!

The employees excluding the managers were the most amazing people trying to do their best and working with the minimum - the manager was terribly rude and disrespectful I have no words to describe it.

“Not bad for 3 stars”
The place and location is very nice, we booked a suite it was large and cozy. We had also a cheminée (we had to pay for the woods) Activities was for free it was nice (ice skating, swimming pool and spa)
