Breakfast was super!! The cheese tortilla and the steamed brocoli was the best I ever had. The sitting area behind the property and the ground are well kept. This property is only 2 km from the center of Grecia.

We had a wonderful stay at La Terraza! The garden was beautiful, and Mauricio’s guided tour was a real highlight. The whole place has a very relaxed atmosphere with a great positive vibe. Highly recommended!

The location was very nice, close to the event we were attending. Breakfasts were very good, each morning we received something different. Staff excellent as well. The property was beautiful, and the grounds well kept. The banana muffins we received upon arrival was a lovely touch, along with the flavored water & tea in the fridge. Very nice!

“Perfect - tranquil - refreshing”

This accommodation is outstanding, clean, comfortable, spacious, tranquil and serene, the only noise disturbing you is the sound of the river which flows through the centre of the garden 😁. The accommodation has a beautiful garden opposite, accessed by a bridge over the river, ask Mo for a tour, he will proudly show off and explain the plants and their uses/importance to supporting wildlife. We saw a hummingbird sitting on a nest in a banana tree. Situated far enough away from the busy town but in my opinion within walking distance (approximately 35 minutes). I have to praise Costa Rica and their bus service, almost everywhere we stayed we were able to access neighbouring areas and tourist attractions by local bus service which runs far more frequently than the UK. Breakfast was a 2 course meal, different every day and very tasty with freshly made smoothies and one morning we had dessert too. I would most definitely recommend this accommodation and would happily stay here again should I ever return to Costa Rica.

we had a nice habitation with a large and comfortable bed and a nice kitchen . The location is an ideal starting point for all destinations round the Poas Area. There is a nice garden with sitting areas. The whole area is very quiet. The breakfast was very nice and varied compared to the standard. The staff was very accommodating and friendly we definitely would come back

Unfortunately we only stayed one night, on our way to the airport. The best accommodation in the area, near the airport. Clean and quiet, with very friendly staff, beautiful garden and delicious breakfast

The apartment was very spacious, well furnished and clean. The garden is super nice and we were able to park the car in the courtyard, which made it very comfortable.

Breakfast was amazing and we slept like babies.. The beds were comfy and the river flowing made it magical. we woke up to sounds of chickens.. Charles the owner is so personable.. We had a great 4 days spent there.

We stayed at La Terraza fifteen years ago before we moved to Costa Rica. Revisiting was like coming home. Charles, the owner, and John, the manager, were both welcoming and gracious. We loved the grounds; the old bridge has been replaced, the gardens are lovely, and the music of the stream sang us to sleep.

La Terraza it’s a enjoyable place to stay. I stayed just a night just before getting my flight. It’s 30/40min drive to airport and San Jose. You are close to the city while still having this mountain nature vibe. The breakfast was good and very friendly staff. The room we stayed in was comfy but the noisiest one, close to the road. That is a bit annoying but we were advertised before.
