“One of the best places we stayed in our 1-month Costa Rica journey!”

We stayed 3 nights as a couple. The hosts were very obliging, easy-going, kind, attentive and responsive, and gave us good advice about shopping to our needs. Even before we arrived, they accepted immediately that we drop off a big suitcase a week ahead of our arrival, at 6am, since they were up anyway. Breakfast was great, the house we stayed in was deliciously designed and furnished, we had a great, quiet stay at the end of a month-long country exploration. We had all the privacy we dreamed of, the setup and amenities were great, including access to the communal washing-machine and dryer, there was a wonderful restaurant 5 minutes away by car (this is a quiet, out-of-the-way country area where you sort of need your own wheels). We recommend visiting the nearby Los Chorros Recreational Park Waterfall, where locals enjoy a day off in and around the water. Bring food, you'll want to spend the day there!

“Perfect Stopover with the Kindest Host”

We stayed at B&B Garden Grecia on our way from San José Airport to La Fortuna, and it was the perfect stopover location. The property is peaceful, easy to reach, and feels like a little hidden getaway. The owner was incredibly lovely and went above and beyond for us, even welcoming us with a smile during an extremely late check-in. In the morning, he cooked us a fresh, delicious breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch and exactly what we needed before continuing our journey. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly set up, with a nice sense of privacy and a beautiful lookout over the garden. It felt calm, cosy, and very well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend this B&B for anyone needing a relaxing, friendly stopover near the airport or on the way to La Fortuna!

Grateful the host met us so late at night and gave us a room with a fridge for medication at the last minute. Great beakfast.

We had a pleasant stay at this B&B, which offers simple but very charming rooms with great value for money. The property is located in a lovely area, with a beautiful garden and pool that make the atmosphere even more relaxing. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of fresh and tasty options to suit all tastes. The staff was fantastic, always available, friendly, and ready to meet all our needs. The family-run management adds a special touch, making us feel right at home. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a simple yet cozy accommodation, in a perfect location to explore the area.

“Great alternative to staying in a city.”

We came from Monte Verde but we didn't want to spend our last night in a city so this was a perfect stop since SJO airport was only 40 mins away. It was quiet and lovely. Breakfast was good as well. The staff was also very helpful and accommodating.

Breakfast was wonderful, the host was very kind and helpful. I walked to Grecia, about 30 minutes of hills and very pleasant. The room and surroundings were beautiful and peaceful.

“Relaxing night”

Away from the hustle and bustle of Alajuela in a country setting. Parking and a restaurant on site. Restaurant was decent and reasonably priced. Owner was friendly and helpful. Room was pretty large and the bed was softer than the norm in Costa Rica. All in all a good place for us to spend an extra night while waiting for our luggage to arrive.

Very helpful and nice hosts. We could wash and dry our clothes for free. Good restaurant with plenty of local dishes.
