“Nothing changes….itis a lovely hotel”

We have been many times over the years and we love the place. The pool,the position,the terrace the dining room and the breakfast are all outstanding.it is a great place to stopover!

Fantastic! Well worth a detour. Excellent pool area. Delicious food and very helpful and friendly personnel.

Very pleasant staff, nice park, very good restaurant, we simply enjoy to spend one night there on our way from Prague to Provence

“Former Chateau hotel and restraurant that looks after their guests”

Classic former chateau with on site parking set in attractive parkland. Very friendly and helpful staff and an excelllent restraurant. The hotel was very good at arranging first-aiders and hospital when my wife had a fall. Overall the hotel could not have done anything more for us.

“Beautiful”

A gorgeous old chateau with beautiful gardens, staff were very welcoming. Rooms are very dated however I was surprised at how comfortable the beds were. Only stayed for 1 night but would return again if passing through.

Set in lovely gardens with spacious rooms and fabulous restaurant with typically French menu-definately not burger and chips. A little tired in parts with some repairs needed around the swimming pool but it is absolutely charming. Good breakfast at a good price. Will definately return at some point.

“Vintage France”

This is France like we used to know it and have come to love it. A little lovely Château with friendly and respectful staff always styishly dressed. Excellent cuisine. Nice pool and leafy grounds to relax on the shore of the Saone river. Parking on the premises and charming rooms. Great for a stopover or a getaway in the French country side.

Lovely chateau in fabulous grounds. Great food for dinner and breakfast. Nice sized pool. The restaurant and chateau interior are extraordinary. Very friendly staff.

“Lovely old chateau with relaxing pool!”

Beautifull old chateau. The gardens were very nice and had two lovely relaxed days at the swimming pool. The staff was very friendly. We stayed for 3 nights and every morning we were surprised with a clean room. Great service! If you like typical french food the restaurant is also great.

Fantastic setting Excellent food

“We felt very welcome, had an excellent dinner and will certainly come again.”

The only thing I would mention is that we felt the velour bed cover was not very fresh - sheets were clean and fresh but the cover left a slightly musty smell in the room.

The place is situated in a generous park with very big trees, a pond and a swimming pool. The soft sound of a gentle waterfall on the Saône river at the far back is an invitation to slow down. It is an ideal place to relax, enjoy fine food, observe nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The staff is very kind and well trained, the manager jovial.

We have stayed here many times and love it. The grounds are beautiful and it is a short walk to the river, which has an excellent footpath alongside it. It is a charming oasis of peace and modest eccentricity.

Lovely chateau on bank of river Saone , out side swimming pool lovely grounds and amazing food and wine. Lovely proprietor and great staff who have been at the hotel for a long time!

We have never stayed here in the spring before, and as always it was great, the staff are so friendly, and the garden looked lovely too. We hope to stay again this summer.

“Another gastronomic delight.”

We stay here regularly because we like the location ( between Switzerland and Uk) and the food. It’s a family run hotel with charm and character and lovely grounds. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. It happened to be Valentine’s Day this trip and we had a superb 4 course meal with choice of meat or fish dishes. Oh and Champagne by the roaring log fire.
