The property presents really well. As with a lot of places in France, you first arrive at a rather dilapidated older style home, and have to navigate down some steps to the garden, then WOW that garden is spectacular. Sonja (the owner) was fabulous as a host, she met us, helped with bags (down those steps), offered the use of her laundry, and gave us ice for the gin and tonic....

“Come to Grasse - it's lovely”

Breakfast was fresh as a daisy and delicious. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, Sonja was lovely and a great source of information. Grasse was delightful - I never thought that I would find parfumerie museums so interesting, but I did.

“Great place to stay in Grass”

Sonja is a charming host and she speaks very good English. She was available when we needed her. The apartment is beautifuly decorated. The bed is comfortable. We ordered breakfast which we liked, great croissants. Molinard parphumery is across the street.

The appartment is located on the groundfloor of a 200 years old building, with Sonja and her family (plus friendly & well educated dogs) living also in the other half of the GF. Nice, cosy, garden, to rest, serve breakfast or just relax in warm evenings. We've chosen to have also breakfast served in the garden and it was just perfect. The appartment is stylish, nicely decorated, contains also pictures drawn by Sonja. Speaking several languages, our wonderfull host is a nice person to talk to, have a chat and offers a lot of useful info's. The house is just 150 m from the Molinard museum and parfumerie, and in walkable distance (10-15 min) to the city center, with some nice restaurants (plus International Parfume Museum and Fragonard & Galimard and Shopping street.)

Grasse has no hotels in the centre and so this guest house is ideal to walk and see the sights and stroll into the town for dinner. The decor is superb and exceptionally clean. Breakfast in the garden the 'icing on the cake'.

Beautiful luxurious interior designed bedroom, bathroom, living room & garden. Just a short nice walk down the hill from the city & across the street from Molinard perfumerie! Easy bus to & from the train station almost right in front of the property! Lovely & friendly hostess & her dogs. Delicious homemade breakfast in the garden was a plus! Will definetly recommend & return.

It’s beautiful, super clean, comfortable and spacious. Great location. Great taste in interior design. Great home atmosphere. The host is an elegant lady and she’s so friendly, helpful and kind. Really enjoyed my stay. Will definitely book again if I’m in town next time.

“Perfect stay in a 5-star accommodation at an affordable price.”

It was a self-contained apartment with a separate entrance. The interior is very stylish with a Corbusier chaise longue, Hollywood Regency lamp, wonderful paintings well-appointed, a mini Bang&Olufsen speaker and so on. It is what you rather expect in a 5 star boutique hotel - and might not even get it. The garden is beautiful and can be used by the guests. It is private as there is only one apartment. There is also a secure parking space in a garage close to the apartment and I recommend to book it as street parking is limited. The cost of EUR10 is a real bargain and will be most likely adjusted. Sonja is a very good host. We had very good conversations. Location is pretty good as a walk, up-hill, to the centre of town is just around a 10 min. To sum up: you get a 5 star accommodation at a decent price with a lovely host. It is more like staying with a friend and having enough privacy.

“Perfect quiet calm and elegant apartment with a lovely host”

Sonja was the perfect host. Her house is so beautifully appointed, the bed was very comfortable and the bonus was that the accommodation was a self-contained apartment with a separate door. The apartment is full of beautiful art and lovely books, and there's a comfortable day bed and a stylish original Corbusier chaise in the salon which my husband was very impressed by! Sonja herself is just absolutely lovely, I feel like we made a friend. The two dogs of the house are so cute, they were a bonus 🥰 Sonja speaks very good English which made our stay even better as our French is limited. We were able to find out lots about Grasse and the perfume making courses, and Sonja had recommendations for places to eat as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Un Palmier a sa Fenetre to anyone travelling to Grasse who wants a calm, quiet and elegant place to stay

It was beautiful. The host made us extremely welcome. The breakfast in the garden was wonderful. The accomodation is a mini apartment really. Spacious, beautifully decorated and stylish. Would highly recommend...40 mins drive to the coast Nice/Cannes etc but Grasse itself is atmospheric and characterful.
