The location was great, the view was beautiful. It’s not particularly walking distance from the main town but the bus stop is right outside and its very easy to navigate and there are ubers too. It was a little inconvenient but it made up for it in its view and overall peaceful and clean atmosphere. The hosts were lovely, even when there was a language barrier they were always so kind and trying their best, they were always one whatsapp text away and responded quickly so was a great help to have if I was wondering about the bus lines etc. The room was fabulous, the bathroom was great and the mirror had its own mirror light which was great for doing makeup. You had everything you needed in the kitchen (microwave, hob, fridge, freezer and utensils and cutlery etc), was easy to bring food home and stock up on snacks as there was no shops nearby so I stocked up at the start of the week and was easy to take care of myself then. The couch was comfortable and the room was spotless, also got to use some of the products from the perfumery and the TV was new enough to be able to connect Netflix etc if you wanted. The house was beautiful and the pool area was lovely and big enough for the amount of people staying in the accommodation, was never extremely busy etc, and could just walk around the corner to it when you wanted. The train station was a bus/uber away (the bus stop outside the accommodation takes you to a bus top right outside the train station) and only takes 10 minutes so travelling to Cannes/Antibes/Nice is no issue.

We had a fabulous stay at La Colombière with Mr. Olivier as our host. The residence is located in a very calm area and the views as well as the garden are amazing. The pool area was very nice and we stayed in an apartment downstairs so we had our own patio which was really nice. After a twenty minute walk (down hill!) you will reach the old town of Grasse, with restaurants and the famous perfumeries shops. We had some trouble getting an Uber to the address, so I would advise to book ahead if you plan to travel by Taxi or Uber. There is a bus stop 50 meters from the property but the bus departures relatively infrequently. Mr. Olivier was incredibly helpful with everything we asked him about, and he arrived every morning with a baguette and croissants at a small cost. We really had a memorable time during our stay in Grasse and we warmly recommend La Colombière!

“Exceeded all our expectations. Utterly gorgeous with the MOST amazing views!!!!”

Everything was beyond our expectations - our family room was exquisite (Fragonard textiles and amenities), spotlessly clean and not only was there the most jaw-dropping panoramic view from the room and private terrace but also from the shower! Imagine showering in total seclusion and privacy but with a view of the Cote d'Azur! Breakfast was amazing and plentiful (refined, lovely plates of meats and cheeses alongside croissants, bread, fresh orange juice, great coffee etc). The pool was lovely and as there are only a few apartments and rooms, never busy. We bought picnics each night and dined on the terrace (why try to find anywhere else to eat when you have a view like that?). Lovely hosts who helped with our every need (borrowing plates and cutlery). This was genuinely the most lovely place we stayed on a two week tour of Provence. In the terraced gardens there is boule and table tennis. As La Colombiere is high above the hills, a short distance from Grasse, you need a car. My only one tiny comment would be that the only rubbish was in the separate toilet so an extra bin in the room would be handy. Sometimes the photos on Trip Advisor make a place look more special than it is. For La Colombiere its the opposite...no matter how good it looks in the photos, the actual place is EVEN more enchanting!!

The large and well decoratated room was of exceptional quality, such as the use of Grohe toilet and tapware. The breakfast offered a very good choice of cold meats and cheeses, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh baguetts and croissants and home made style jams. Excellent facilities of a pool and gym equipment were available. And finally the host was very welcoming and friendly.

The location is fantastic! We had a marvelous view from our room and the breakfast area on the outside terrace. The pool is stunning. But on top of that, Olivier is a super-host! Breakfast is delicious. We loved our stay and would love to come back. Ideal for families.

I liked just about everything! The Centifolia room is exceptional in it's concept with the bathtub in the room, the bed is very comfortable and breathing of fresh laundry. Mosieur Olivier takes a lot of care of making exceptional breakfast, with fresh baguettes, croissants, strawberries, framboises... mmm, I already miss it ! A perfect touch is a vase with flowers, paeonies this time of the year (start may). The views from the terrace down the valley of Grasse to the coast with Cannes are exceptional . The air is full of pleasant smell of the flowering nature around (or perhaps from the perfumeries some 300 m down in the town). The feeling in the night with almost full moon is like from Van Gogh painting Stairy night. Magic ! Pure 10 !
