I have stayed at the Mount Peyton a few times over the last 25 years. The property is a little tired on first sight, BUT, the big plus is it is very clean and comfortable and the staff could not be fore friendly or helpful

We have stayed at this hotel in the past, I booked here this time for a procedure that we were told would require me to stay nearby the hospital in case of difficulty with recovery. Mount Peyton has family rooms for families like ours of 5, which is what drew me to book in with them again. I sent messages through this app about requests and was answered in a timely manner. I called after my procedure to let them know that I would not need to stay and acknowledged that my reservation did not have free cancellation, but that it would be better for us to bite the bullet and pay for the stay, even though we would no longer need it, as my husband could instead avoid missing another days pay by returning to work a day earlier. The staff member appreciated my call and advised me to make sure I followup on the app, she was very kind. I clicked the cancellation button and "request for refund", and I wholly did not expect to have that approved. I just got notified by my bank that the credit card was refunded, and oh what a weight that has lifted off us to have that money returned. This is the kind of actions that demonstrate the kind of business you run is one that cares about their community and their guests. It shows a morality that is lost in this world alot lately, they were not contractually obligated, but they did the nice thing anyway. I am so incredibly grateful for that. On this medical journey, living rurally means lots of costs incurred that aren't refundable, you don't even know my story, but you've supported me in it and in turn, I will be returning the favour in kind. See you on our next overnight trip to GFW.

Did not have breakfast. Staff were pleasant..It was simple to communicate. The hotel were accommodating to our requests.

“Nightmare”

The location was about it and that we could get a room on short notice bit nothing else was good.

It was all good for the overnight trip

We had a wonderful dinner there on Saturday when we arrived but were then told the restaurant would be closed on Sunday & Monday! However, when we came back to the restaurant on Monday we found out it was actually open for dinner and once again we enjoyed a great meal. We had breakfast there today and it was fine.

I didn't eat the breakfast because I spent too long in the shower due to low pressure

Only the beds are good.Rest everything was really bad.Torn wall papers,Broken tile in the washroom floor.Very poor lighting,Very few power outlets.So many more

Staff was nice enough to upgrade us to the main building and let us in a little early.

“Booked 2 nights and had to pay. Took a loss and moved second night because we hated it there. Loud,”
