The location was awesome! Such a wonderful landscape. We really enjoyed that. The host was really friendly and helpful aswell. We bought a special beer from a microbrewery which they sold there. Such a cold beer after a long drive was so nice.

Veeeery nice views considering not being actually on mountains!! Last few kms of pretty steep gravel road was a bit tough for 400kg touring mc s. I guess part of it was made by SKF (Svensk Kullagerfabrik)=)

Very nice location, scenary at the peak. Although it doesn't equipped WiFi, the cottage is still very satisfying. Driving to here can be a bit difficult for your car to climb, but it is worthy.

“Mountain stop along the Wilderness road”
Very nice view across the lakes and mountains. Cabin fully equipped with kitchen and bath. We had a nice stay.

“Absolute perfection !!”
When God created the world He had to start somewhere, and He started here. Without a doubt staying here was the highlight of our trip from the UK to Norway. The lady who met us to hand the keys over was very friendly and supportive, the views from the cabin are astounding, I wish I was a poet to be able to properly articulate feelings. The absolute silence and clean air are like nowhere else on earth. Make sure you book towels and ask for breakfast. When you visit (And you have to) then make sure you take the longer road by turning right at the green house rather that the Serpentine Road opposite the pink house as you'll need some serious off road kit to get up there.

“wonderful and classic swedish stugar with superior location and excellent view!”
Wow. Awesome location and super friendly owners. The Stugas are equipped with basic things. There is a wonderful swedish charme & style and the View is just awesome. The parking place is equipped with a 230V connection to preheat your car in winter time. The owners are great and welcoming and they do not hesitate to assist or support if you might have special requests.
