Overview
This elegant hotel is located in the heart of Granada, very close to the main tourist attractions and just 25 mins walk from the Alhambra. It offers contemporary style rooms all with TV with Chromecast. You can also enjoy The Level lounge with spectacular views. We have a varied gastronomic offer with a restaurant specialized in fish and seafood (La última Ola 1971). An all day dining space with international cuisine with Italian touches (Pecorino). On the sixth floor we have a sushi bar restaurant that offers the best views of the city (Marimoto) Melia Granada is 15 minutes’ drive from the airport. The Sierra Nevada Ski Resort is 30 km away while the Costa Tropical is 60 km away.

The way this hotel is described on its website is pretty deceptive if you aren't aware that Melia is a chain that operates in a particular way. They have something called Level which is a very expensive upgrade from the prices advertised for a room. The lounge area, the balconies, the upstairs bar -- which are very attractive -- are only available if you pay the substantial Level upgrade. From the photos and descriptions on the website this seemed like a very good deal but it turned out to be very basic, clean and well located but no real amenities beyond that. I probably would have looked further if I had understood that the amenities shown are not included in the basic room price.

Pretty much everything…excellent view from the top floor lounge, as shown. Very conveniently located for the Alhambra, high end shopping and some lovely local bars..
