What a wonderful place!!! Situated on the cliff edge of the Albaicin with a stunning garden terrace overlooking Granada; with multiple separate outdoor seating/dining options - all with a sunset view. Andres welcomed us, showed us all the facilities, and provided advice on eating locally. Lovely old family house divided into two generously sized separate apartments, which share the enormous terrace and laundry. We stayed with our adult daughter in the very comfortable apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped and stocked with cooking essentials. Andres even provided a bottle of wine and other goodies! Easy to walk everywhere from here (up and down hill), provided you are relatively fit and able. Also enjoyed the chats with the residents of the other apartment, though there is ample space to feel like you are not imposing on each other. Great wifi, both inside and outside the apartment.

“Apartement with a gorgeous terrace”

Wonderfully located and well equipped apartment with Andres being an extremely nice and helpful host. Great terrace with a stunning view of the sunsets over Granada. All major sights in walking distance, but you have to be prepared to climb some stairs. If you come by car, parking is available as an extra, but come with a small car.

Everything. House, garden and view was perfect. Host was very welcoming.

Exceptional location with wonderful outlook over Granada. Private but with easy access to Albaicín’s attractions (miradors with views of the Alhambra, bars and restaurants, etc). Magical gardens form part of the property – sitting out there is highly appealing.

“Exceptional view and very relaxing”

The view from the patio is exceptional. Sitting on the patio in the afternoon with a glass of wine and watching the sun set over Granada is an experience that will remain with us for a lifetime. The apartment is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. The air conditioning works well. Andre, our host, is excellent at communications and met us and showed us around the apartment and explained how things worked. He gave us great advice on things to do and places to eat.

The view is outstanding. Spacious terrace. Old house with old furniture but very clean and maintained. THe owner is super nice. In perfect area full of restaurants. The garage is small but very close and convenient.

This was a fantastic accommodation – probably the best I have ever stayed in through BDC. Andres met us and showed us around the property; consisting of two old adjacent properties built by his grandfather – each property was for 4 people. The interior included old colourful tiles and dark wood and was spotlessly clean. It really was an eclectic place. There were great walk-in waterfall showers and comfy beds. The whole place was well stocked; shampoos, soaps, coffee, tea oils, plasters, hair drier and straighteners – everything you could need. But the best bit was the large, beautiful veranda perched on the cliff edge over-looking the city of Granada (note: you cannot see the Al hambra). The veranda/patio was packed with beautiful flowers and plants, jasmine, aloe vera. Jade plants etc – it was such a great place to sit (at one of the 3 tables or in the bar area) and eat breakfast or have a slow dinner and watch the sun set over the city of Granada.

Andres is a fantastic host. He was incredibly helpful sending us a link to the official Alhambra website, helping us with his local knowledge and even ordering us a taxi at the end of our visit. He left us wine, chocolates, fruit and even milk for our tea. His accommodation is situated in the most beautiful grounds with amazing views. We felt truly blessed to stay in Andres home.

“Wonderful home from home”

Beautifully situated property with spectacular views over Granada and beyond. The terrace is West facing so we were able to enjoy a spectacular sunset. The apartment itself has lots of character and charm and it was very clean and comfortable. The entire place was well stocked with everything one needs to self cater cooking wise. The internet worked well. Overall a wonderful three days spent in this outstanding 'home'.

It is wonderful place with very very nice view in the hearth of Albacin. Terrace is really very large. Room is perfectly equipped with everything you need. Highly recommend.
