“A lovely hotel, in lovely surroundings.”
We arrived well into the evening and we were offered a table in the restaurant - away from a large (noisy-ish) group. Our twin bedded room was spacious.

“A great place to stay and you must go and see "The Twist"”
Excellent service, great location, watching the swifts feeding in the evening. The food is fantastic, I really enjoyed not having to choose from a menu - just tell them what you are allergic to - or hate with a passion - then be surprised.

“Beautiful rural location and extremely comfortable room with superb food. Fantastic staff.”
Loved the location with views over the surrounding countryside. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They are all obviously very proud of their guesthouse and cafe, and rightly so. The evening meal was superb as was thr local beer. The breakfast was the best breakfast buffet we had had on our trip.

“Excellent stay in a quiet location.”

“Interesting place in a historic setting!”
The location is beautiful. The double bed room was tiny and the bed small. The room was clean. The staff was excellent.
