“Off the beaten track”

I really enjoyed being off the beaten track. The house was clean and functional and in a great location. Very secure location with exceptionally clean swimming pool. Great little local tavernas.

The accommodation is clean and excellently equipped. Communication with the host is good, we received good advice and information. We had a great time. It was a real home feeling.The property is in a closed community, so there is a great sense of security. The pool and its surroundings are nice and clean. We rented a car, but we went to Alicante and Elche with the bus that left in front of the house, because we got to the cities quickly and cheaply. But there is also a bus to Santa Pola, where there are many sights and ports. From there we sailed to the island of Tabarca.

Lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable. Well equipped and great location for local bars and restaurants. Buses and tourist train close by which can take you to the beach and around the local area. Good communication with owner. Recommend eating at Porko Rosso and steak house - delicious and very reasonable.

It was very clean. We were able to check in later than we should. Owner gave us manu information about the place. Wifi was great, about 300mbps. There was a grocery store nearby.

“Can't wait to go back”

The property is secure, clean, extremely well equipped and well located. We are already planning our return. Extremely good value for money. Communication between the owner was warm and informative. Shops and restaurants on your doorstep. We took the public bus to Santa Pola (from right outside the door) for 2.50 return and then the ferry out to Tabarca Island. We also walked to the beach from the apartment, 15 minutes walk down a steep hill, getting back up is more challenging but we managed and had a lovely day. There is a community bus but we opted to walk and it is doable. All in all we had a wonderful 4 days and would highly recommend this property.

“Quiet sunny fortnight in a secure, gated complex with awesome hosts.”

To clarify: We never stayed in La Morada. We had booked Casa Ilda and La Morada separately - starting with a bigger apartment and then downsizing later in the week as some of the group left after 1 week. However, the hosts contacted us and, as they fortuitously owned both properties, offered for us to stay in Casa Ilda for the full duration rather than swap between accomodations. This, for us, was far more convenient and we promptly agreed. La Morada looked great though, a bijou apartment with a funky vibe nestled in the same complex as Casa Ilda. As it stands, though, we never got the chance to stay there. Next time we visit Alicante we will endeavour to book it though, as we will not have as many people in the group. Reference the reviews of Casa Ilda to get some idea of the pros and cons of the area. The hosts were splendid people; multilingual, super accommodating.

Perfect base to explore the area, great transport links. The apartment was great value for money and is exactly as described. The host Leticia was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again

“Excellent host”

The house was spotless when we arrived. The host was excellent and had thought of a lot of details to make our stay perfect. We asked if they have htmi cable and sharp knife and the host the next day surprised us by dropping them when we were away.

Everything loveliest flat i have stayed in. Clean, good location. Will definitely return.
