“Very nice place to stay”

The location, cleanness and decorations were very nice.

“Cosy overnighter”

Such a quaint and cosy room. The bed was very comfortable and all that we needed for our one night stay was catered for. The only thing we had that was negative was the neighbours that ajoined our room, when they opened or shut a door it rattled the connecting inside door. Otherwise it was the perfect overnight stay.

For the family room, guests need to carry their luggage up a hill and stairs. It would be better to inform guests of this before booking so they can make an informed choice. Guests are also advised to check in by 5pm during winter. We checked in at 6pm and had difficulty finding the exact unit. It was challenging to carry our luggage across the hill and up the staircase to reach the family unit. Fortunately, the owner was accommodating and allowed us to stay in a two-twin-room unit, which was much easier to access. We appreciated the owner’s flexibility. The owner's mother is very friendly.

This is a perfect place for relaxation — beautifully designed and equipped with absolutely everything you might need. The interior design is warm and charming, the rooms are very spacious, and the living area is perfect for cozy family evenings. The views from both the living room and the bedrooms are simply stunning. The location is also excellent: close to cafés and restaurants, and only a 7-minute drive from Garmisch. It truly feels like a fairytale place.

We really liked the charm, the surroundings, the atmosphere, the design, and the location. It was warm inside, and it was great that we could light the stove ourselves.

“A magical room”

This place was a great surprise as it’s exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious with a dining table, kettle, large wardrobe and even a wooden piano. There was also a large and comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and clean. The bedroom was very well decorated and is very authentic. It felt like a fairytale! The cottage itself is also really nice and well located.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apt that is in the attic. Lots of country character and plenty of space, comfortable beds. Location is close to the charming center of Grainau and spectacular Eibsee lake- lots of other day trips by car are very accessible.

The apartment was a big surprise for our kids—it truly felt like living in a fairy tale! All the paintings on the walls were super cute and added so much charm to the space. It was cozy, fun, and full of little details that made the stay magical for the little ones. We highly recommend it, especially for families with small children. A really special place!

Perfect accommodation in the Bavarian style house in the alp valley. Very cozy and quiet. Just 1 hour walk (or 10 minutes by car) from Eibsee, Garmisch, etc. Recommend it for the family rest. Hope to come back again, thanks!
