Overview
This 3-star, family-run hotel invites you to relax and feel at ease. It is situated in an area of mountains and lakes and offers wonderful views of the peaks of the Alps, including the highest mountain in Germany, the Zugspitze. In the summer you can go on hiking tours, while in the winter the pistes are covered with beautiful, deep layers of snow. Come and relax in the sauna. The town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen can be reached by bus in only a short time. High-speed WiFi is provided free of charge on the whole property.

“A warm, comfortable, and welcoming stay with excellent breakfast and beautiful views”
We stayed a few nights at Hotel Alpspitz and had a wonderful experience. Our room was very spacious and offered a beautiful view of a snowy garden, the perfect winter setting. It had all the amenities you could need, was exceptionally clean, and very warm and comfortable. The bathroom felt newly upgraded, with a large, modern shower that we especially appreciated. Breakfast each morning was fantastic. The bread was so fresh it was still warm when served! We particularly enjoyed the wide selection of dry meats and cheeses. There were also plenty of other options available, including cereals, eggs, and vegetarian choices, so there is truly something for everyone. The host was always readily available and happy to help with anything we needed, which made our stay even more pleasant. There are also two large private parking spots, and we felt confident that our car was safe at all times. Thank you for such a lovely stay, we will definitely be coming back! :)

Place is spotless, very well appointed. We had plenty of comfort and home like feelings thanks to the host and his caring for this place. Every morning, they serve tasty breakfast to start the day. Perfect place for gateway.

Beautiful hotel with amazing breakfast, a medium-sized but lovely spa area and excellent location to reach by train as well as go skiing! We had the suite with rain shower, got our bathing ropes brought to the rooms and were extremely well looked after!

“Great host in Untergrainau”
Pleasant quiet hotel near the train station. Decent breakfast. The owner went out of his way to help us (e.g. he went out and purchased a HDMI cable when we asked if one was available!) and make our stay enjoyable. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
