Lovely no fuss B&B. Starts with super friendly and personal check inn, room was comfy and super clean. Hosts are super sweet and go out of their way to make sure you have all you need. The kids pottering around just adds to the family warmth. Breakfast with fresh rolls and croissants, selection of yogurt and cereal and good coffee. Walking distance from gondola, supermarket and start of most hiking trails so good base to explore the mountain

It was a surprise that the hotel has such a great Mountain View! We like it a lot! And it was also a surprise that the couple owner is from Dutch so we finally find some familiarity where from thousands kilometers away. They are very kind and helpful! In overall, the room is tidy and clean, the bed is very comfortable, the hotel is equipped with an elevator which is not typical to have in such a traditional house.

What an exceptional and lovely place to stay! The dutch owners are an amazing and caring couple, made our stay more personal with their good vibe. The breakfast and the coffee was plenty and delicious. The view is outstanding both from the room and the cantine. Perfect location for visiting Zermatt by car/train. We can't imagine a better place to stay!

“Cosy and friendly hotel in a great location”

This is a traditional and cosy hotel in a quiet location. It’s perfect for accessing the mountains and is very close to the centre of Grächen. Marco and his family are wonderful hosts. They were super helpful with their local knowledge of transport,mountains,trails etc. the rooms were cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty,plentiful and good coffee. This is a great value hotel run by lovely,friendly people. Grächen is a quaint and friendly village and the area is stunning.

Everything was perfect

I went to Graechen for an ultramarathon and stayed at Alte Bok the nights before and night after. The bed I slept in the nights before was harder and not as comfortable but the night after the ultramarathon I slept on a lovely softer mattress. The rooms are sparsely furnished but have essentially what you'd need so I have no complaints. The owners are a lovely Dutch couple who've recently taken over. They went out of their way to speak the various languages of the nationalities of the athletes staying and ran their feet off to serve. They even got up super early each morning that week to make early breakfast for the athletes starting their events each day. Honestly, brilliant, friendly service in a perfectly adequate facility!

New hotel in the area, very nice and great family running it. They warmly welcomed us and happily accommodated everything we asked for (safely storing a bicycle inside, keeping the luggage in the hotel after check-out). I was also taking part in a race that started at 4am in the village, and they left breakfast ready in the kitchen for me to take beforehand. That was very nice of them and made our stay very comfortable and easy. There is a kitchen where clients can have coffee and tea, and a small fridge and sink there. Very useful. I truly recommend the stay at Alte Bock 2.0 and wish the owners a successful business.
