As city dwellers from London, we were initially concerned about transport connectivity, but the picturesque landscape and tranquil surroundings greeted us like a postcard, making it a refreshing escape from city life. Owned by a warm and kind-hearted couple with delightful children, cats, dogs, and farm animals, the property was a true haven of hospitality and charm. Despite booking during the Belgium F1 race without a car, they went above and beyond to ensure our unforgettable stay, offering pick-ups and drop-offs to the nearest train station. Throughout our visit, they provided invaluable assistance, arranging taxis and offering local recommendations. Their willingness to call multiple taxi companies during peak season showcased their dedication and genuine care for guests. It's essential to note that a car is ideal for this serene retreat. However, if you seek a peaceful escape surrounded by nature's beauty, this is the perfect spot. In conclusion, we highly recommend this listing for its incredible setting, warm hosts, and memorable experiences. Our room was very spacious equipped with the most important things you might need. We liked the common room with fireplace and cosy seats. The enormous garden (including some animals e.g. goats) is a big plus for children and pets. Parking is available on premise. Freshly baked bread and croissants from the local bakery as breakfast? Yes! The place is located in a small very calm village. You can start hikes from the B&B and there are many activities and places of interest nearby. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. You are welcomed extensively and shown around the place. They are doing all they can to make your stay the way you like. Would certainly recommend a stay.

We were welcomed by a really friendly host into a beautifully renovated old characterful farm house. The accommodation is very roomy, including everything you need. Bathroom is spacious with a walk in rainforest shower and a bath tub. The mattresses are firm resulting in a refreshing night’s sleep combined with the quiet of your rural surroundings. You get a big breakfast downstairs consisting of freshly made eggs, ham, cheese, fresh bread, a variety of croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, hand pressed orange juice and fresh coffee. We couldn’t ask for a better way to start the day. In the evening we sat around the fire pit with a drink talking the night away under the beautiful night sky. This is a very easy recommend.
