Everything! The owners are absolutely lovely and communicative. A wonderful welcome at midnight! The same if not better than the photos! It has all that you need. Lovely to have a private pool. Gouves old village is perfect. Everyone is friendly. 5-10 minutes walk to the 2 mini markets and 3 restaurants. Kato 30mins walk. Local taxi company if you don’t want to hire a car. It’s such a relaxing holiday, we’ve already booked for next year! Thank you!

Fantastic hosts! We were warmly welcomed with a freshly prepared meal, along with thoughtful gifts of homemade wine, raki, and olive oil. There was also juice, bread, and fruit waiting for us — a truly generous touch that went above and beyond. The property itself had everything we could possibly need, including a washing machine, BBQ station, and even beach towels. The outdoor pool area was beautifully laid out, offering both comfort and privacy, and parking was conveniently located right outside the property. This is a wonderfully run home, managed by exceptionally kind and helpful hosts. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay! Warmly welcomed with a delicious home cooked meal on our arrival, they even left us with supplies for breakfast as we arrived quite late. We loved the apartment, clean, well looked after and perfect for a relaxing break! We walked into Kato gouves most days but mostly we enjoyed our own personal pool and the quiet and secluded stay. Thank you Giannis and Georgia, when we return to Crete this will be the place we want to stay

like home from home.Well equipped with everything you need.Nice quiet location with a few tavernas close by .5 minutes by car to busy area of Kato Gouves if you want it .Owners Giannis and Georgia so friendly and helpful.Nice touches with their own made olive oil , wine and raki.Myself and my wife really enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing.

When we arrived the hosts were ready to help us with our luggage. They gave us a tour of the house and prepared a lunch for us. Everything was clean and neat. It was amazing to stay here. With a private pool with lights in it. 2 balcony’s and 2 bathrooms. The washing machine came in very handy too. This accommodation has everything you need for the perfect vacation. It’s located in a more quiet little town. But it’s also very easy to look up the crowds. Which to me creates the perfect balance for when you want to socialize and when you want to relax. The beach is close and it’s was easy to move with the car or the bus. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, they also offered to take our luggage to the airport for us so we could still enjoy our last day in Heraklion. My friends and I really loved our time here. I would recommend this accommodation to everyone and I would love to come again!

Giannis and Georgia went more than the extra mile to welcome us, They were charming, Georgia had cooked us supper when we arrived, remembering we are vegi, so meat free and left it in the oven. Giannis came every few days to clean the pool.. The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves, though there were also tavernas in the village if we wanted to eat out. Free wi-fi, Netflix, air con, parking next to the house. We couldn't have asked for more. Very peaceful village which kept the 'silence during siesta time' rules, which worked for us too.
