We arrived far too early, but were allowed to checkin once the room was ready. For our ease we were able to put our bicycles on the terrace accessed from our room. We didn’t want to walk around the town to find somewhere to eat but stayed at the hotel where dinner was simple put ample.

“Extremely disappointing”

It was totally unacceptable that a hotel and restaurant booked weeks in advance of our proposed arrival date sent a message to say that the restaurant would not be open and also that there would be no hotel reception one day after the free cancellation date had passed. We believe this at best was bad professional practice or at worst fraudulent by ensuring that fees were taken. We chose another hotel and did not stay

The hotel was conveniently situated on the outer edge of the town, which meant that parking was available in the streets nearby. The room was clean. comfortable but basic. A self-service cold continental breakfast was provided. My journey took much longer than expected as Google maps kept taking me across country on slow roads and the staff were very helpful, when I phoned, staying to let me in.

Room was nothing like the one I booked..it was cold, dark and more like a prison cell.,bed was like concrete, bathroom small and grotty, the terrace in the picture looked like a different hotel to the one there, my Son left, wouldn't stay...staff thought it was a marvellous room! Obviously used to low standards. We stayed there in 2014, we had a lovely big room with a good ensuite, What a difference from when the previous owner Patrice ran the place. A dump is all I can refer to it as now.

The dinner was fantastic on both nights. High quality local cuisine that more than met my expectations. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is very well situated and well run. The room was very clean and tidy, though the table/desk was a bit small. Bathroom excellent and spacious.

Location is good for getting to town and mediaeval part of town. And check out the memorial next door. Full bar, comfy room.

C’etait parfait!!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. It is simple and cheap but fitted the bill for the night on our way to Gouffre St Padraig and Rocamadour. The two female staff were lovely and very helpful. We had a great evening with them as we talked Franglish with them. Very memorable.
