Isabelle is an excellent host and cook. We had a wonderful three day stay here and loved every minute of it.

“Lovely authentic stay”

What a wonderful find. Isobel was an incredible host, we wanted for nothing. The room felt spacious with our own separate facilities. The location was great to visit Roussillon, Gordes and the other pretty villages. Although Goult had lovely character. Returning to sit around the pool. We ate in the property one night, sitting in the terrace, which was lovely, joining other guests. I would highly recommend.

Isabelle’s house is located in a fantastic location, near almost every town worth a visit in Luberon. It’s quiet, clean, spacious, and has everything you might need for an extended stay. Most importantly, Isabelle as our host was absolutely incredible. She was proactive, generous, and attentive to all our needs. A key highlight is dinner at Isabelle’s. I highly recommend having dinner at least once. Her home cooked food was easily the best meal we had all trip. The bonus was that we had the opportunity to have nice conversations with other guests that had similar sentiments too.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lumières. The property is set in the heart of Provence, with easy access to all the charming villages. Large, ensuite bedroom in a tastefully decorated house offering a delicious, varied, homemade breakfast. However, what made our stay extra special is the owner Isabelle, who is so welcoming and passionate about sharing her love/knowledge of France and its cuisine. Please, please if she asks you if you would like to dine-in one night, just say yes! The place has charm and soul😊 À bientôt!🌸

“The perfect place to stay”

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Isabelle's place. The property is well located for visiting the beautiful Luberon villages and the room (with its own private bathroom) was spacious, comfortable and clean. Isabelle was a fantastic host and had plenty of helpful tips for places to visit. The breakfast was amazing and the dinner she cooked was delicious. It felt like a home away from home and we loved our stay here. There was also free parking on site.

Isabelle the owner, is a wonderful host where nothing is too much trouble. The property is set in a relaxing and homely atmosphere and is a short distance from the picturesque village of Gault. Her evening meals are delicious, generous and highly recommended. The continental breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of items in addition to her homemade jams and yogurt. Isabelle kindly provided us with a light meal on her night off when a local restaurant had cancelled our reservation due to a thunderstorm, which was a kind gesture that was much appreciated by us and another couple staying.

Isabelle was an amazing hostess. She made us very welcome. Always checking in to make sure we didn’t need anything. Provided us advice about upcoming bad weather. She is also a very good cook. Her food was delicious and very generous portions. Sundays are her night off. But the Sunday we were there, there was a thunderstorm and we were not sure if restaurants were opened. Instead of letting us fend ourselves she offered to cook us a meal of omelette. It was for us and another couple. She is just amazing. The pool was a great facility after a hard day of walking. We had a lovely room that opens into the garden/ pool.

We had everything we needed in the room - it was a great size and the private terrace overlooking the pool was a wonderful bonus. Isabelle was a fabulous host and went above and beyond helping us with recommendations as to where to go and even letting us put some washing through her machine. We had one meal cooked by Isabelle which was fabulous and very generous. We shared it with another couple staying and the whole evening felt like a dinner party! Breakfasts were always slightly different and very ample. Overall we had a wonderful stay and can’t recommend Villa Lumières enough. Thank you Isabelle.

Isabelle was a great host, the place is well located and clean

Isabelle is the kindest, most attentive host(ess) you could wish for. Villa Lumières is a charming traditional chambre-d'hôte. Rooms are large, gardens expansive, and breakfasts excellent and varied. Isabelle offers table d'hôte most evenings. Lumières is perfectly situated in the valley between the Vaucluse and Lubéran mountains. The surrounding hill-top towns are accessible by car or bike. Mont Ventoux looms over Vaucluse. I can't imagine a better spot for spending a week in Provence. An excellent base for a cycling holiday.

“Superb host in great location near unspoiled Goult”

Owner Isabelle is a wonderful host and cook. She looked after us when one of us caught a cold, showered us with attention and gave us great breakfasts and wonderful local Provençal food at dinner at a communal table. She runs a great Inn and we cannot recommend it enough. Swimming pool, indoor bike storage, quiet nights, great Luberon location near the unspoiled village of Goult. She washed our clothes, offered us medical attention if needed and was even prepared to drive us to Avignon to catch our train.

Isabelle is an outstanding host. She was accommodating to all our needs, a great conversationalist, and helped us with our travel plans.

We really enjoyed talking with our host and she prepared a very delicious dinner which was more than worth the price we paid. The breakfast was also very good. The host gave us many tips for visiting the surrounding towns and markets. It was a wonderful stay.

Isabel is a great host. She compiled a 2 day itinerary for us. Her evening meals were excellent and great value. Will definitely stay again if and when we return to France

Isabell was a fantastic host Her cooking was to die for and made the stay so easy as no searching for restaurants which would not have come up to her standards anyway
