A small and Very nice hotel, large room, clean, centrally placed at affordable price, and surprisingly good breakfast with perfect service from the staff. I would gladly stay there next time I pass by

The hotel is just on the edge of Gotha town centre, which is a great place to visit. The hotel feels homely, the breakfast is good and the staff helpful.

“COMFORTABLE, CONVENIENT, AFFORDABLE”
Our room at the Hotel am Schützenberg was unusually large, it was tastefully decorated and it was properly furnished with a large, comfortable bed, a large wardrobe/Schrank, and several tables and chairs. In addition, our room had large windows, faced mature trees and was very peaceful. It was also well-illuminated and had numerous electrical sockets. The WiFi/Internet was adequate. The remote check-in process was problem-free, our room was properly serviced during our absence and the price was very reasonable. While the hotel is not immediately adjacent to the Schloss or the theater, we found the location to be very convenient, especially as parking at the hotel is easy and economical

We had a living room with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom. The hotel is close to the town centre and has two supermarkets nearby. The hotel is very quiet and also historic.

Friendly reception, clean and spacious room with sitting area. The kitchenette was a bonus. Breakfast was wholesome! Location right next to the historic city centre.

“Only 1 night, what a pity”
Very competent staff. A huge, beautiful room with lots of stylish details. Excellent bed, nice big bathroom and comfy sitting area. Walking distance to the centre and its attractions.

I liked the spacious room and the friendly staff. The breakfast is good quality, proper German fare. The administration is friendly and efficient. The hotel is in a quiet part of the centre of town, and easy to find.

The location was quiet but central. The room was well equipped with a kitchenette, fridge, dining table and everything necessary. Having a good supermarket just around the corner was great. The bathroom was very nice too.

Excellent small hotel, a lot of character and individuality, enormous room, helpful staff, decent breakfast, ideal location, very quiet but close to town centre.
