Noctarium is an terrific place, the host is very friendly and what he did with the location is amazing! a whole cinema all for you! the place is clean, and you have all the facilities you need. deserves more than 10! one of the best location I've ever been.

Very interesting concept! Turning a cinema to living space and keep the screen. Kids love it as they spend their time watching shows on the big screen. Perfect place for family! Kosuke San is very nice and accommodating!

“Absolute Cinema of an accomodation in Gotemba”

What's there not to like?? The location is just right across the street from Gotemba station! With plenty of good food and transport options right at the doorsteps. Kosuke was a friendly and responsive host throughout the whole experience and his passion and thoughtfulness shows through how he renovated the interior of the building. The space was uniquely rustic and relaxing, with tin cans amplifying the music, film tapes adding accents to the lighting and even doubling as a business card! There were plenty of other special points which I shall not spoil in this review. Apart from the amazing theater, another thoughtful luxury were the heated beds which help alleviated the winter cold.

Incredible! Its a totally different hotel from every hotel Ive been before. The host rebuild a historic cinema, so you own a whole cinema once you step in. No matter how many people you have, the cinema, the rooms, the toilet and kitchen all below to you. The best way to enjoy here is watching a movie in the sofa，take some local beer and then back to your cozy room. And there are several restaurants nearby are opened till midnight so you dont need to worry about food. Besides, the hotel is just 3 mins walking distance to railway station.

Fascinating guesthouse/inn style of accommodation. Very clean and comfortable with the star obviously being the cinema screen all to yourself. The owner was extremely accommodating and available when you needed him. Location is unbeatable, and you’re able to see the station from the entrance. Clearly a passion project for the owner - it’s definitely worth a visit and recommended over the generic business hotels that litter the area.

Unique & amazing experience. Asked for early check in & the Host accommodated which gave my son & I plenty of time to explore the local area & the backdrop of Mt Fuji.
