“Avoid at All Costs – A Truly Horrifying Experience”

I would never recommend this place to anyone. What we experienced was not just poor hospitality, it was borderline hostile. We arrived in the evening, just as we had clearly stated on our Booking.com reservation (between 9–10 PM). After struggling to find the key box, we called the property owner for help, only to be met with threats and aggression. Instead of offering assistance, he angrily asked who we thought we were, why we were on his property, and informed us he was recording us. We were absolutely stunned. Not only had we spoken to him earlier, but as someone renting out a property, he should’ve known guests were arriving. Things only got worse from there. The listing failed to mention that the "house" is actually a run-down hostel. The condition of the place was appalling: dimly lit, poorly maintained, and far from what was advertised. But the real nightmare began when we entered our room, none of the lights worked. Not the main overhead light, not the bedside lamps, nothing. We were left standing in complete darkness. We had booked for two nights, but immediately realized this place was uninhabitable. We left right away, as staying in a room without any lighting is simply not an option. We even took videos to document the issue. The owner has since refused to refund us, despite multiple calls and attempts to resolve the matter through Booking.com. The entire experience was distressing, unprofessional, and frankly, unacceptable. Do yourself a favor, stay far away from this property.
