At least the breakfast in Zana's garden in front of the lake is a motive to stay there. Amazing exprerience!

The Guesthouse is in the middle of a charming village. Our host was very nice and gave us great informations about events and trikkings. The breakfast and the diner were generous and delicious !

“Amazing hospitality, but...”

The situation at this accommodation is complex. The village looks as if you've gone back 1000 years in time, which is wonderful. The house is clean, nicely arranged, guests share a spacious kitchen, living room, refrigerator and bathroom. The only huge problem is the too-soft, poor-quality mattress. I tossed and turned all night, my spine hurt terribly in the morning so I had to take painkillers. I was sleep-deprived. Breakfast at Cveta's mother Zana's, a few minutes' walk from the accommodation, was wonderful. Mother Zana trembles with desire to please her guests. We sat in the pavilion and ate organic, home-grown food. Cveta, I advise you to immediately replace the beds in the rooms, buy quality firm mattresses, invest a little more money in the house. This will pay you back a hundredfold within a year. Then all the reviews of your accommodation will be outstanding. Take this criticism in good faith. Otherwise, this is one of the most beautiful experiences of Lake Prespa, its peace and time that remains the same through all millennia.

Don't miss this experience. You don't get any closer to the original Albania with animals in the streets and great hospitality.. The breakfast was an experience and the dinner even better... everything from own garden and homemade. We enjoyed every minute....thanks Zana...

The village is amazing and so is Zana's hospitality! She made us dinner and breakfast, and apart from fish from the lake, she had either made or grown everything herself. Milk and cheese from Baba her cow, eggs, honey, fig jam, wine, and all the vegetables - so much work - she is an inspiration! This stay was a highlight for us in Albania - highly recommended!!

Everything was wonderful. The guesthouse is in a lovely peaceful village. There is access to the lake side where I saw pelicans. It is all decorated in old fashioned traditional furniture and fabrics. The balcony was a bonus. The kitchen has enough pans to make a simple meal. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. I would love to come back for a longer stay.

Go to this friendly village and enjoy the excellent dinner and breakfast of Zana. She is a gem of hospitality. Slow down and listen to the chickens, cows and donkeys.

“Exceptional landscape, great accommodation!!”

We would like thanks that Zana and Cveta provides accomodation in that region. Beautiful place on Prespan lake! Village Dolna Gorica deserve to be visited! The room is located in a house that has the spirit of a village and traditions. The house made us feel like we were at home. There are several rooms in the house, so it is also suitable for a group of people. In heart of house is spacious room with a dining room, a kitchen and a living area with a beautiful fireplace. Both Cveta and Zana are very nice! Zana and her homemade delicacies for breakfast we will remember for long time (especially the best ajvar I've ever eaten). Breakfast is served in Zana´s place just few minutes from accommodation. Thank you very much for great time we could spend in that wonderful place of Earth!

“Hidden gem in Prespa’s lake”

The warm welcoming, the beauty of the surroundings, the amazing food served make this place a must. The house is extremely clean and with a big garden full of fruit trees. I hope I will be able to come back one and I truly recommend it :)

“A mixed experience”

Zana is a lovely and generous host. She prepares delicious home cooked food, with lots of fresh home grown produce. The village is off the beaten track in Prespa national Park, a beautiful and tranquil location. Things I wish other reviewers had told me: The guest house is a shared space and there is not a lot of privacy. We had a surprise when we were woken up by other resident guests arriving home at midnight. There is one triple room upstairs and a bathroom, a double and a triple downstairs with a second bathroom. Coordination, directions and communication are mainly with Zana’s daughter, who lives in Denmark. She is very helpful and responsive. If you want to have (amazing) home made fish and vegetarian meals, you go to Zana’s garden, 5 mins walk from the guest house. If you visit at the height of summer, there is no fan or a/c, so the bedrooms are hot, particularly upstairs. If you want to go swimming, you need to travel some distance to find a good spot. There are no supermarkets nearby, so bring what you need.

Authentic experience in a peaceful village on the shores of Prespa Lake. Clean rooms. Super friendly hosts, Zana and Cveta. The food served was fantastic, all home made and locally grown.

The food was excellent, the area wonderful, if you want to experience nature and countryside.

Super cute place that make you get a little touch of what traditional house could be like. We had dinner and breakfast at this place and it was DELICIOUS! We were full but didn’t want to stop eating!

The breakfast was served at the house of Cveta's mother. Few minutes walking distance. She perfectly took care of everything. Food was mostly from home made products, really great! Withing the village expect unpaved roads with home animals like chickens, donkeys, cows freely walking. We liked it, it was great experience for our kids.

Everything. The location ia amazing in the middle of a very quiet small agricultural village, where the chickens, cows and donkeys roam the small unpaved streets. (You won"t see this anymore in 10 years time.) Zana is a vey kind host. Her breakfasts and dinners are incredible examples of traditional Albaniian cooking. Everything is homegrown or freshly caught in the lake. The facilities are very good. You can make use of a good kitchen, livingroom and garden. The price/quality is excellent. We stayed 3 nights and won't forget it.

Zana, the owner made breakfasts and dinners for us ….they were excellent and so different from restaurant food. She grow all her own vegetables and fish is from Prespa Lake…so fresh. She is a wonderful hostess. The house is very comfortable and the garden is such a great place to relax,
