“Lovely modern unit in convenient location”

I loved everything about it. Very convenient location, good communication, & the apartment was spotless, modern, very comfortable and beautifully designed. If you have heavy bags or cases on wheels, it is easier to take the cable car up one stop from Gora, then walk down to the accommodation from there. The rooftop space was a bonus, but be aware that the stairs are a bit tricky - steep like a lot of Japanese steps, and there is a beam halfway up that cracks you on the head if you aren't careful. You're ahead of the crowds here, as day trippers will be coming up from Tokyo or Hakone, and you can be on the cable car as soon as it starts running (8:45am in April). Don't miss Gora Park, just a little further up the slope, it's really beautiful & has cafés & craft workshops which open at 10am.

The place itself is very spacious, everything was cleaned and everything we needed. I liked they provided hair dryer and things like that which is very thoughtful.

Perfect base for exploring Hakone and everything around. Right at Gora station and Cable car up to Ashinoko. Clean and very comfortable accomodation. Clear and very well made instructions and tips by our host about onsens and restaurants nearby. HIGHLY recommend.

Great location, close to Gora Station. Convenience store 5min walk away. Cosy, very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Bunk beds very comfortable. Quiet location (all of Gora is quiet). Great place to stay in Gora.

We loved our stay at agora base. The apartment was wonderful and comfortable for a family of 4. The apartment has been very well thought out and it had everything we required for our two night stay. The roof top was a bonus.

Fantastic location for seeing the area, located right beside the cable car. Well designed apartment that makes good use of the space. Rooftop balcony is a fun addition. We really enjoyed being here and wished we’d booked another day.

- Large space which allowed us to truly relax. Spotlessly clean. - Comfortable double beds with only two of us we were spoilt for choice. Would be perfect for families. - All the amenities you needed in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry including iron, hair dryer, straighteners and washer/dryer. - Thoroughly enjoyed snuggling up in a blanket watching Netflix when the restaurants closed! - Loved the views from the rooftop, be mindful it’s almost a ladder step up. - Great location in Gora however be wary that it is up a steep hill! We found going through the alleyway the accommodation is located off is the best way to tackle the hill as not as steep but be careful of uneven surfaces and not well lit. Alternatively you can walk directly next to the cable car. - Local shop at the top opposite the park was great. Park was worth going in if you have a Hakone Freepass. - Overall we are very happy we stayed here rather than pay a lot of money for a hotel with less space. We really enjoyed eating out too Pubstop and Gora Brewery and Grill were our faves but recommend having breakfast in as there is not much choice isn’t the area.
