“Balanced review: modern hotel, but with several important areas for improvement”

The price–quality ratio is very good. The hotel has been recently renovated, and in some areas you can still notice the “new” smell. The rooms are spacious, and some of those on the upper floors also offer sea views. The food is fresh and varied, with enough options to suit all tastes, so there is plenty to choose from.

The food was very good in All inclusive style. Quite clean rooms and a very good staff.

Nice hotel and very well maintained, excellent showers and bathroom was immaculate, balcony was facing the street which allowed you to sleep at any time of the day. Vassili at the front desk is always ready to go out of his way to accommodate all needs and wants.

Great location, big and renovated rooms with daily cleaning. The hotel has a private beach with sunbeds at about 5 min walking distance. The food was good and pretty variated.

Beautiful hotel tucked in amazing greenery. We visited in June and the linden trees had bloomed so it smelled amazing and overall the green areas were impressive from rose garden to lovely lavender by the pool bar all was lovely. Hotel was very comfortable and clean, pools were perfect for a family trip. The kids pool is suitable for over 3 year olds but there were 3 pools to choose from so lots of options if the kids have swimming ring they can go in the adult pool with a person. The pools open at 9 and close at 18. Food is served at best times and is well organised, delicious and lots of choice. Loved the different cuisine nights from pirate evening to Japanese evening. The kids animation was lovely and there was a kids disco every evening at 20:00 for half hour. Rooms were clean and modern, recently refurbished and very comfortable.

There are lots of positive aspects about Hotel Kristal: - cleanliness is something on the maximum level; everything you might think about was really clean, including the towels for going to the pool - hotel staff were always super friendly and respectul, especially the animators team - food was tasty and varied a lot throughout the week; drinks were classical for an all-inclusive resort - the pool and the sun beds were always clean and fresh - the possibilities for extra activities you could do at the resort were plenty Long story short, this is the best all-inclusive resort we’ve been on the Bulgarian seaside in this price range. We’ll definitely return in the future.

When I made the reservation at this hotel I read the reviews of other customers and based on them and the high score of the hotel I decided to book but it seems I was wrong. The food was poor quality! A lot, diversified but tasteless, no salt, no spices of any kind and not made! I threw away the morning omelet because it was inedible, it had boiled (baked) and raw eggs! The fish was all baked, uncooked and burned with the kitchen burner. It tasted horrible. The coffee was watery. You had to take out the glass while pouring water to reduce the amount of water and then put it back in so you could drink a decent coffee. And the big and beautiful pool that appears in the pictures looks totally different in reality.

nothing about the property was outstanding. mediocre from all standpoints. the parking was 500m far from the hotel, the food was close to awful, the “all inclusive” drinks were diluted and complimentary cocktails disgusting. overall mediocre place to stay.

the property is very far from the sea and very inconvenient for the money. The employees, I don't know if they are missing and depend on them but there was no one to smile or be friendly. This is very annoying. Parking a big problem in front of the hotel are the cars of only those owners pay the guy who coordinates the parking and this is annoying and I could continue with many other irregularities for a so-called 4 star hotel

The hotel was beautiful and aesthetic, completely new and clean. The pools were excellent, surrounded by trees and shade. The daily schedule was made more lively by the animators' programs. The meals were varied, so everyone could surely find something they liked. The staff was kind and helpful.
