Situated 8 km from Storefjell Ski Centre, Kvanhøgd Turistsenter offers cottages with private kitchen facilities and a furnished terrace with mountain views. Gol town centre is 25 minutes’ drive away. Cottages at Kvanhøgd have either shared or private bathroom facilities. Some have a seating area, TV and dining area. A 250 km network of cross-country skiing trails is accessible from the property. Children will appreciate the playground with a trampoline. Popular summer activities include hiking and cycling. Traditional Norwegian dishes are served at the in-house café. A small grocery store is also found on site. A small bathing beach is 400 metres away. Nystølfjell Ski Centre is a 20-minute drive from the cottages.

Great location for starting trips and many kinds of activities. Host is super friendly. Houses are not modern but everything is working and super clean: the place has a special very authentic atmosphere.

The location in the mountains was excellent. The hut was exactly what I expected for a one night stay. It was quiet and I had a good night's sleep. I could park my motorcycle next to the hut. The toilet block with showers was nearby. There was plenty of hot water. I was able to have basic hot food at reception (chicken and chips) and use the free WiFi It was very quiet on the site and I had a good night's sleep.

“Too much a bill for too less a cabin”
Clean before departure? Sorry, I was so kind to do it but then I wondered why not cheaper price? Toilet, shower al outside of the cabin. So basic, and so full a bill. Sure I will not go back there

The electricity in the cabin will shut down suddenly if we use the stove and oven at the same time, while other electronic devices are on, like heater, tv, and etc. It would be nice to know this kind of information so the tourist know what to do/ how to avoid this. it would be nice if the owner will hang/put a message letter in the cabin and/or mention it upom check-in.
