The room was very cute, the location was great, next to a very nice waterfall. The northern lights were very nice as well!

“Great staying and location at the Goðafoss Fosshóll Hotel!”

The Goðafoss Fosshóll Hotel has a great perfect location, right next to Goðafoss waterfalls, with spectacular views. We were able to enjoy the waterfalls at different times of the day. They have a main building which serves as reception and restaurant and two other one story buildings with the rooms. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the main building called Agave is run by a Mexican chef, and the food was delicious in a Mexican-Icelandic fusion menu style. The breakfast buffet was good too. The staff were very friendly and helpful at the front desk and in the restaurant. Great value for your money and we recommend staying there!

We were given a room upgrade on check-in, which was at another building without staircase so we could drag our luggage easily there.

What a great location, next to the Godafoss waterfall. The hotel was nice, comfortable, very nice rooms and bathroom. Everything was clean. We had breakfast and dinner here. No complaints. Personell was very friendly

Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels I have stayed in over 30 years of travelling. The location was brilliant and very close to the huge waterfall. Food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was spot on. We loved the room. Beds were very comfortable and the shower had good pressure and to a very good temperature. No TV in the room but Wi-Fi was excellent. The room was very comfortable with the added bonus of underfloor heating.

“Nice hotel beside Gođafoss”

It's very near to Gođafoss, in fact you can see Gođafoss from the restaurant. We booked 3 rooms. The rooms are of different sizes and designs, which makes it interesting. Food served at the restaurant was good.

Set off early so did not have breakfast which was from 8am. The setting is spectacular scenery and peaceful. There is Wi-Fi at the accommodation which was a bonus. Staff extremely helpful and polite. Food delicious evening meal and not expensive

Very good breakfast which we booked on arrival and super friendly staff with some good advice on nearby spots to visit. We had a room in a separate building right next to the main building. We were absolutely satisfied with the room and everything in general, especially the close location to Godafoss which allowed for a late night and early morning visit without any other tourists around. Also the dinner options at the restaurant were great. Strong recommendation!

Excellent location, could walk to the waterfall in the morning before it was busy but also in the evening when it was quiet. Upgraded and was out in one of the cabins which was spacious. Restaurant available for the evening, along with a small bar.
