This family owned hotel is located at 3,8 kms away from Godafoss waterfall, and offers modern guest rooms with private bathroom. Free private parking is available. Each room comes with a private bathroom with a shower. A table and chairs are also featured. Towels and bed linen are provided along with clothes rails, a hairdryer, and hand soap. “Group traveller”
There is a slight problem with the toilet flush. Water continuous flowing.. Needs to try a few times to stop it. There is a rack on the left hand side of the entrance. However there was no sign indicated it is guests' property and one of my friend thought it was provided by guesthouse therefore an unpleasant incident happen in the late afternoon with another guest. We apologised and clean her slipper to solve the issue.

“Location is super chill”
The location is stunning by the beautiful river, nice walks right from the hotel along the river to the waterfall and more. Beds were comfortable. Easy self check in and check out.

“Quiet, comfortable overnight stay”
Quiet, peaceful location so easy to access Godafoss late in the evening without the crowds. Comfortable room with a lovely view - although a little hot from the sun which we were lucky to have! Great continental breakfast with lots of choice.

Nice new rooms, clean bathroom, friendly cat at the entrance :) They offer a good breakfast as well. They were very nice- we had an issue with the key holder for the electricity and they came to fix it even though it was past 11pm. Definitely recommend!

“Just stay here when in the area!”
A gem of a place near Godafoss waterfall! Very comfortable and clean and the floor plan of the room was well thought out. Complimentary tea, coffee and an electric kettle were provided. Blackout curtains were a HUGE plus (one of only two places during our trip that had this!). Breakfast was very good (there were hard boiled eggs!) and being able to use the breakfast area as a kind of communal lounge was much appreciated. Patrizia, the staff, was very friendly and accommodating and it was very nice interacting with her! One of the best places we stayed at during our trip to Iceland. Highly recommended!

Room was super beautiful, clean and spacious. The landscape around was full of snow, so peaceful and serene. Godafoss is 10 min away and it was definitely one of my favorite waterfalls in Iceland. The girl working in the kitchen was super friendly and nice and the family living there kindly let us use the kitchen for our dinner.

“Beautiful, tasteful, quiet and comfortable”
The rooms are beautiful, tastefully decorated, comfortable and quiet. The owners were super solicitous with details before check in providing all relevant information and answering questions very quickly. Breakfast was a very nice plus, with traditional Icelandic food, in a quiet, calm environment. A great experience that makes you wish you left your busy life behind to move there forever. As a plus, we got to see the Northern Lights for a while!!
