Naxos is a big island, and there are village houses owned by great local people. The location of the house was great in Glinado, close to the center and port and shopping markets, just about an 8-minute drive. It was a house with hotel cleanliness and the traditional family house spirit. It was an extremely cozy atmosphere. The rooms were air-conditioned and also had ceiling fans; most of the time ceiling fans were quiet enough for a comfortable sleep. The place Glinado is surrounded by taverns, local gathering places for coffee and snacks run by nice families. You are always welcomed and greeted in the neighborhood. It was also extremely safe and secure. You can also enjoy the warm, breezy weather at the front porch in the evenings as well. Our host, Ms. Kiriaki, was fantastic. She brought us delicious locally grown and organic vegetables and pastries, and she offered to clean the house during our stay. The sheets and towels and beds were clean and comfortable. You can cook meal; we were a family of five, so it was important for us to use the kitchen for a couple of meal times.
