Enjoy wonderful views over Lake Mjøsa at this elegant, centrally situated Gjøvik hotel, which offers comfortable, spacious guest rooms as well as free Wi-Fi and extensive spa facilities. The bright and airy guest rooms at Quality Hotel Strand Gjøvik are decorated in a colourful, modern style. There is a large spa centre, offering treatments, several pools, a fitness room and a stylish spa bar for an extra cost. Strand Gjøvik's central location gives easy access to culture, shopping and entertainment. Only a short walk away is the jetty for the famous old paddle steamer Skibladner, built in the mid 19th century. After a day of exploring the city and lake, relax with a meal in the restaurant of Hotel Strand. In the summertime we have a roof top restaurant with outstanding views over the city. Between September and May we have a restaurant indoor with a variety of meal options.

Not very engaged staff. Not very good info on the site re that the spa for kids was extra. Not very good service re prices at the restaurant. Will not stay there again and not worth the money.

The location of the hotel is great and it is in a walking distance to the center and the main station. The room was very nice and cozy and the staffs were friendly. The breakfast is very good and with a wide range of choices.
