Everything! It’s a beautiful, original building with a luxurious feel. Also has good parking (noting there are tight, steep roads to get to the hotel).

Beautiful quiet stay. Very comfortable room with a gorgeous view. Walking distance to everything. The host was excellent and very accommodating, he went above and beyond for breakfast.

The property has been redone recently so everything feels fresh and new. The person at the counter/concierge is exceptionally helpful and tries to make you feel comfortable. We got the room without the balcony. It was compact but fine.

Very friendly manager, Andre, for whom nothing is too much. The hotel only has 4 rooms which make it very quaint. Very tasty breakfast included.

“Perfect stay in Gjirokastër”

We had a really great stay. Upon arrival we were offered a coffee and enjoyed it in the little garden in front of the hotel. The host was really friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was very tasty as well. We can totally recommend staying at N‘SOKAK Boutique Hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good, thanks to the nice lady who served us. Henry was very helpful and helped us with our check in. The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk to the main bazaar area, and having a parking spot right out front is a huge advantage here. Like most of Gjirokaster, the road to get there is steep, so just be mindful of that when arriving. Would definitely stay again.

I liked everything, the location, the room, cleanliness, breakfast, staff friendliness etc. Close to museums, bazaar, and castles. Gjirokaster is an UNESCO town built on steep roads and rocks with a lot to offer.

“Located in historical heartland of Gjirokaster”

If you book a tour, the house of Ismail Kadare (famous Albanian author) and Fico House will be on it. N’Sokak is between them, 20 metres either side, so it couldn’t be more central. Accommodation / furnishing done to a high level. Parking provided which is a massive bonus as the streets can be quite narrow.

N'SOKAK Boutique Hotel is just incredible. Located just a few minutes from the old town bazaar, Cold War Tunnel, Gjirokaster Castle and many traditional Albanian restaurants; it's an absolutely perfect location to explore Gjirokaster. The young woman at reception was a delight to chat with and she prepared an amazing breakfast each morning. I ended up staying a third night because I enjoyed the town and hotel so much.

“Really stylish hotel”

Beautifully converted Ottoman house tastefully converted. Room was small but stylish and the bed was very comfortable. Great and powerful shower, and slippers and bathrobe were provided in the room. Great view of the castle out the window. Breakfast was overall good, especially the pastries/bread and the yoghurt. The hotel attendant was polite, and was helpful in showing me the parking outside the hotel/next to the hotel. The location was very good, a 5 minute steep (!) walk up the hill to the main bazaar, but you can't avoid hills anywhere in Gjirokastra.
