“A Delightful Stay at Maison D'hôtes Les Coquelicots”

We stayed for two nights at Maison D'hôtes Les Coquelicots as we wanted to see Monet's House and Garden and the Impressionist Museum. From the moment we arrived, Diane, our host, made us feel incredibly welcome. Her warmth and hospitality were evident in every detail of our stay. One of the biggest highlights was the French breakfast Diane prepared for us each morning. The homemade marmalade was a treat, bursting with flavor, and the yogurt sourced from a regional farmer added a touch of local authenticity. The croissants and baguettes were fresh and buttery, making each bite a delight. We also appreciated the wide selection of teas, which catered to all our preferences. <3 Diane's knowledge of the city's history enriched our visit. On our first day, she drew up a map of the town for us, explaining where everything was located, the best times to visit, and offering many useful tips. This personal touch made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the house was charming and inviting. Conversations with Diane were a pleasure, as she shared fascinating stories and insights about the local culture and history. In summary, our stay at Maison D'hôtes Les Coquelicots was a memorable and delightful experience. Excellent location and very pleasant host

We could not have wished for a better place to spent our visit in Giverny. The house and the rooms are very beautiful and so nicely decorated. Diana is very nice, friendly and such a perfect hostess. The breakfast was with the fresh fruit salad, homemade delicious jams, crunchy baguette, croissants, freshly pressed orange juice, … together with the charming table layout a great start into our day. Highly recommended!

breakfast was quite normal: fresh salad fruit ,bread ,yogurt ,coffee ,homemade jam ,croissants . everything is in perfect order, very pleasant hostess Diana. real poppy place both outside and inside many many poppies it was very nice to spend 2 nights there

Breakfast was fantastic, plentiful, fresh fruit salad, croissants, bread, local yoghurts, great home-made jams, etc. Delightful host who went out of her way to help make our stay perfect and even bought our advance Monet tickets to save the queue!

The fresh fruit and bread for breakfast was excellent, as well as the conversation despite the fact that I speak English and my French is minimal.
