Quirky, quality interior and soft furnishings, fabulous location, peaceful, beautiful outside space, mostly excellent level of cleanliness. Thoughtful addition of room fans, good WiFi, plenty of kitchen equipment. Amazing range of interesting books helped to create a homelike relaxing vibe. Relatively easy to find parking nearby. Communication from host in response to queries was helpful and prompt.

It is one of the quirkiest accomodations I have been in.

Fantastic insights into historic lifestyles. The accommodation had two levels with such an eclectic selection of furniture. Bathroom and kitchen facilities very modern. Upstairs furnished very well. For booklovers the accommodation will be heaven.

“Charming, quirky cottage”

Charming, quirky, cottage close to Monet's house. The cottage belongs to a landscape architect and is filled with books, workpapers and other quirky objects d'art. There was a beautiful wooden kitchen table that was perfect to gather round as a family. The upstairs attic is filled with curios, and leads to a secret, private back porch and hidden stair ladder. I loved it, and would stay there again. The kids were a little spooked by the mannequins, but enjoyed exploring everything. The door to the cottage/rooms, is upstairs, above an apartment below, and there is a small, iron spiral, staircase leading up to.the attic.

We loved the location and proximity to all the delights Giverny has to offer. And the accommodation itself was great; so full of history and character but with enough mod cons inside to make life comfortable. The garden was gorgeous. As well, Thierry made us feel very welcome and provided a lot of information about the house, the town and the best places to visit and eat at. It was a lovely experience all round.
