What a perfect time we had in this charming rental. We were two couples, a toddler and a baby. The home and property themselves were beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. The owner Hugue could not have been more welcoming and helpful. That included his restaurant recommendations—Oscar and La Guinguette were exactly right for our group. I will note, this house is on a quiet, private lane around the corner from Monets home and gardens.

What a wonderful warm welcome to the beautiful La Petite Maison from Hugues. Perfect destination for our long family weekend, situated within walking distance to the sightseeing spots of Giverny. The house is beautifully appointed, private and peaceful. The gardens are lovely and have a unique place for cooking outside, as well as the outside sauna to relax in. We had a great experience and enjoyed the recommendations from Hugues and of course the delivery of croissants! YUM!! Will definitely be back.

“A Perfect stay in Giverny”

The house is fabulous, cozy, exquisitely designed and fully equipped with everything we need. We are a group of five and there are 3 en-suite bedrooms and each room is spacious and clean. We had a very good sleep in the comfortable beds. The garden is also beautiful that we enjoyed doing some sketching in the garden. The location is quiet yet convenient. All major sightseeing spots (the Monet Garden, Museum of Impressionism and the river side) are within walking distance. Hugues and Caroline are the best hosts I met. They are super friendly and greeted us personally. On our check out morning, Hugues surprised us by bringing some freshly baked croissants and we enjoyed some more chats. The clean lady is nice and friendly as well. I would say this was the best accommodation I stayed in Europe so far. Everything is perfect! Highly recommend!

From the minute you go through the gate you enter a little piece of heaven the attention to detail is first class Hugues the host is most helpful and happy to accommodate to direct to all eatery’s and local historical places of interest It is a beautiful home from home experience that anyone would want to return to .

Just lovely… we were blessed with beautiful weather so we’re able to enjoy the gardens and all the facilities available. The Gite was packed full of interesting books and games and the outside area was very restful and pretty The location is perfect. Recommend this place 100%.

The house is in a perfect location to visit Monet’s gardens and walk around the town. The property is beautiful and very functional for cooking and laundry with comfy beds and wonderful shower with rainforest shower head options. The appliances are all new and the decor is very elegant. It has a gated yard and driveway with plenty of parking. Hughes, our host and owner, was very helpful with spot-on local recommendations and generous with gifts of local cider, foie gras, and fresh croissants. It was a lovely, relaxing stay. If you are looking to ‘live your dream’ for a little while in heavenly Giverny, I don’t think you’ll find a nicer place than this petite Maison.

Our family stay at La Petite Maison de Giverny was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Caroline and Hugues, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was exceptional. They surprised us with delightful local gastronomical treats, fresh flower arrangements from their own garden, provided excellent restaurant recommendations, and even had toys ready for our daughter, making her feel right at home. The location of the property is nothing short of amazing, nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Giverny, within walking distance to Monet's house and gardens. The accommodations exceeded our expectations in every way; contemporary modernity unified with old world charm and amplified with every high tech amenity and high end finishes/details, all without taking away from the historical feel of the estate that it was rebuilt on, truly deserving a rating beyond 5 stars. High end finishes all through out the property, water pressure that is just right and even a collection of books and magazines to enjoy while relaxing. Staying here felt like living in a dream, or perhaps a living painting. We wholeheartedly recommend La Petite Maison de Giverny to anyone looking for an extraordinary getaway. You will not want to leave.... Not to mention the fabulous outdoor sauna, which was just divine on a rainy afternoon in mid May. Caroline and Hugues, we look forward to coming back again! “Marvelous :-D”

Le Petite Maison is a lovely place, located in a quiet street close to the center of Giverny, in easy walking distance to Monets Garden, several restaurants and a bakery. It’s a small house with a private garden. There are 3 bedrooms, each with a separate bathroom. The beds are comfortable and you can ask for an additional duvet, if you don’t like to share the big one that’s on the bed. The kitchen is well stocked and includes a coffee maker with capsules, cooking essentials like salt, oil and vinegar and even an electric citrus press. What really makes this place special is that we felt right at home, when we walked into the house. It’s furnished and decorated with so much love and care. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and went over and above to make us feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day.
