Nice rural place to stay and the lady that manages it is very nice offering dinner and breakfast. The room was nice and there was a communal balcony looking out into the fields. Overall it was a nice place to stay in rural France.

It was a charming place in a quiet location. It was nice to be able to sit outside on the terrace surrounded by the goats.

I booked very last minute on the same day of my arrival, and in off season (February), but the host was ready to welcome me with a smile and a warm and cozy room! Although I was the only guest the breakfast was great, with cheese and jams and a warm bread. I enjoyed my ride through the area to get to the property, the surrounding is beautiful and I guess in spring/summer even more.

The host was very friendly and very understanding of me being later than expected for the check-in. I was given a big room with my own private shower and toilet while i am sure 4 people could have stayed in that room.

Very cozy atmosphere. Homemade dinner was exquisite. All wine and ingredients locally sourced. Off the beaten track, in quiet surrounding. Will definitely return.

The location in a very small village was perfect. The hostess made us very welcome and supplied an excellent evening meal for us! If we had been staying longer walking the local area would have been very easy.

The property owner was extremely helpful, and the property provided a good restover for the day. The meal provided was lovely, especially liked the rhubarb wine!

This was our last stop after a 18 day tour of Europe, in which we visited our daughter in Italy and stayed in 4 or 5 different countries. The description of the property is accurate; it's very rural and the last few miles are just country tracks. However we deliberately chose to move away from all the large cities we visited in the preceding days, and enjoyed the hospitality provided by our hostess Pierette. We arrived around 17.15 and for the first hour we were the only guests there, doing our best to chat to Pierette in our limited French. Later another 4 guests arrived from Belgian, and Pierette provided dinner for the 6 of us, all sat around her dining room table. I agree with the comment that it was a snapshot of rural France, and there are many tiny villages like Girondelle in the countryside. Sadly it was a wet day, but outside in the garden were a variety of chickens, goats and rabbits which we could only watch from the window. Our room was very basic but okay.
